What are these sub-Saharans doing in Japan to begin with? As en employer in Japan, I once tried hiring a White Russian female with a law degree and another Master’s degree, near-perfect English standardized test scores, and basically native level English speaking ability, to teach the language at my school. This is a skill Japanese demand and which is very rare here. She was incredibly overqualified for the position, had a clean criminal record, and would have been excellent to fill that position on a temporary visa. After six months of back and forth wrangling with Japanese immigration, I finally hit a wall and was completely unable to hire her. Because reasons. MEANWHILE…they’re letting these Nigerians or whatever they are in? For what? To whose benefit? Oh, and for those unfamiliar: These guys’ primary source of employment is as doormen for the Japanese equivalent of tiddy bars (they don’t show tiddies and just pour you drinks and talk to you all night).
