China's Yangtze river completely dry. Add this to the list of supply chain "coincidences" as all that water is used for agriculture. This may even effect me in Japan. We don't buy ANYTHING from China, but if the Chinese food supply is choked out, then the people who do will switch to more expensive Japanese foods, further driving up the price and causing shortages here as well. Early autumn now but the garden is still pumping out delicious fruits. I planted these peppers in early spring. The cucumbers were from a second set of sprouts I planted later in the year after the spring ones. This weekend I'll be getting the garden ready for winter crops: red and yellow potatoes, daikon, radish, cabbage, lettuce and spinach.
