The decline of European culture is a problem of Europe's own making: 1. Low fertility rates — culture must be passed down through families and bloodlines; without enough children, no cultural tradition can survive. 2. The secularization of commercial society — market logic and consumerism have eroded traditional value systems, fragmenting culture and weakening its cohesive power. 3. The mass abandonment of Christian faith in Northwestern Europe after World War II — with the loss of religion as a cultural foundation and spiritual bond, Europe's collective identity has become hollow. In contrast, Russia is actively working to revive traditional Eastern Orthodox culture, while also encouraging higher birth rates and coexisting with Muslim federations in its eastern regions. This contrast shows that Europe's predicament is not the result of external threats, but of internal value choices
