Iranian media outlets report that the "Khyber" missile, also known as the "Khormeshwar-4", was launched for the first time in a morning barrage towards Israel. The missile includes a warhead of over 2 tons of explosives, and is characterized by high maneuverability and exceptional accuracy, even at distances of about 2,000 km. It is an improved medium-range ballistic missile, with a single liquid-propellant stage, developed based on Chinese-North Korean technology.

Israel has retrieved the body of murdered hostage Yonatan Samerano from Gaza. On October 7, Yonatan fled from the Nova festival to Kibbutz Be'eri, where he was murdered. An UNRWA employee then took his body to Gaza. 52 hostages are currently being held in Gaza, 20 of whom are believed to be alive.
