In an interview last night, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem declared the group will reject all Israeli demands related to weapons, saying: “We will not be prisoners to Israeli terminology or demands. This will be a key focus in the next phase of our struggle.” Qassem also signaled that Hamas plans to reinterpret the signed agreement on Gaza’s governance—pushing for a governing body that aligns with its agenda and preserves its influence. Hamas is openly defying the peace deal as it prepares for the next war.

The atmosphere in Gaza is one of Hamas’s complete defeat, and even in the Arab world, there is a growing understanding that the October 7 massacre was “a historic mistake that brought a new Nakba upon the Palestinians.” According to reports, “Hamas’s military wing is now clashing with major clans in the Strip — the Durmush clan in the north and the Al-Majayda clan in the south — which could ignite an internal civil war.”

Today morning's incident in the Gaza Strip: A terrorist cell that approached IDF forces in the Shuja'iyya area was eliminated by airfire. Shortly afterwards, he received a letter from Germany’s interior ministry saying his citizenship had been revoked. Germany has gone further than most European countries to punish support for Hamas and curb pro-Palestinian support out of what it sees as a historic obligation to Israel and to right the wrongs of its Nazi past. In 2024, it reformed its citizenship laws to require applicants to respect its “free-democratic order and Germany’s special historical responsibility” towards Jewish life. (The Telegraph)
