Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan to Al-Jazeera: Trump informed us he does not intend to attack
Hypocrisy: Iran sent a letter to the UN Security Council complaining about protesters who call the government terrorists and about the killing of Iranians and security forces.
(Tzvi Yehezkeli)
Were the last 48 hours part of a Trump genius move?
He pushed the system to its limits. The Iranians shifted into a defensive posture developed from lessons learned during the 12-day June war - relocating senior officials to secure locations, activating secret emergency frequency alternatives, and implementing additional contingency measures. Convinced, like much of the world, that an attack was imminent, they fully exposed their newly trained emergency procedures at every level.
Once it became clear that this was a deception, they were left without the time or flexibility to execute an alternative set of protocols. While Iran believed the moment of truth had arrived, the Americans and their partners were closely observing how Iran responds under pressure and how its updated emergency procedures differ from those used during Operation Rising Lion.
And now?
Now the Americans are ready.
This is Sina Ashkavousi, 17 years old. He was killed on Thursday, January 9, by gunfire from repression forces during protests in the Tehran-Pars neighborhood.
His body was buried on Monday, January 13, after regime forces compelled his family to hold the funeral quietly and without a public ceremony.
According to testimonies circulating online, Sina was not alone - he was part of a group of approximately 25 boys his age who were killed together in the same incident.
Heartbreaking. 💔

Graphic content.
These are clear and irrefutable documents exposing the cowardly lies of Araghchi, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic.
These are excerpts from videos showing Islamic Republic terrorists directly firing live ammunition at the people of Iran in the streets of various Iranian cities.
The killings were carried out not only with handguns or Kalashnikov rifles, but also with heavy machine guns such as DShK, and even by IRGC snipers using Ghanaseh rifles.
Reza Pahlavi:
In security and foreign policy, Iran’s nuclear military program will end. Support for terrorist groups will cease immediately.
A free Iran will work with regional and global partners to confront terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking, and extremist Islamism.
In diplomacy, relations with the United States will be normalized and our friendship with America and her people will be restored.
The State of Israel will be recognized immediately. We will pursue the expansion of the Abraham Accords into the Cyrus accords bringing together a free Iran, Israel, and the Arab world.
The question is no longer if the United States will strike Iran, but when.
The only remaining “if” concerns whether such action would trigger regime change.
The options presented to President Trump have overwhelmingly argued against pursuing regime change through direct military intervention. His advisers maintain that any regime change must come from within Iran and should not be imposed by foreign force.
The events in Venezuela prove this more clearly than anything else: Trump’s primary objective is to halt immediate bloodshed and compel hostile regimes to bend to U.S. strategic interests - without assuming responsibility for overthrowing governments.
JUST NOW: Sec. Bessent reveals that Iranian leadership is moving their money OUT of Iran. They are abandoning ship.
"The other thing, as Treasury, which carries out the sanctions, we can see is we are now seeing the rats fleeing the ship!"
"We can see millions, tens of millions of dollars being wired out of the country, snuck out of the country by the Iranian leadership!"
"So they are abandoning ship, and we are seeing it come into banks and financial institutions all over the world."
"What we do at Treasury is we follow the money!"
President Trump has told his national security team that he would want any U.S. military action in Iran to deliver a swift and decisive blow to the regime and not spark a sustained war that dragged on for weeks or months, according to a U.S. official, two people familiar with the discussions and a person close to the White House.
“If he does something, he wants it to be definitive,” one of the people familiar with the discussions said.
But Trump’s advisers have so far not been able to guarantee to him that the regime would quickly collapse after an American military strike, the U.S. official and two people familiar with the discussions said, and there is concern that the U.S. may not have all the assets in the region it would need to guard against what administration officials expect would be an aggressive Iranian response.
Trump in an interview with Reuters about Reza Pahlavi: "He seems very nice, but I don't know how he will act within his country (Iran), and we really haven't reached that point yet."
Trump on the possibility of the regime falling: "It is possible that the regime will fall in protests, any regime can fail. Whether the regime falls or not, it will be an interesting period."

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi:
“Now it has been four days. Everything is calm. There are no demonstrations, no unrest - nothing in Iran over the past four days.”
(Fox News)
If President Trump were to buy this garbage (which he won’t), the message would be clear:
Shut down the internet, and within a single weekend you can butcher and massacre thousands of people. After that, everything appears “calm,” and there is no need to sound the alarm.
Dani Danon, Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, wrote in a post on X referring to the Islamic Republic's letter to the UN about the protests: It is beyond belief that the Islamic Republic's representative at the UN has complained about the Iranian protesters and called them "terrorists."
Danon said: "This is the same regime that shoots protesters, executes opponents, and suppresses a nation; these are nothing but crocodile tears from a murderous regime."
Israel will completely close its airspace as soon as the US attacks Iran, - an Israeli source for Al Arabiya.
The Iranian regime's channel broadcast a picture of Trump from exactly a year and a half ago, with the caption "This time, the bullet will not miss."
Leaked footage from the streets of Kermanshah shows Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps units spraying protesters with bullets during recent demonstrations.
US envoy Steve Witkoff:
On behalf of President Trump, we announce the launch of Phase B of the President's 20-point plan to end the conflict in Gaza, moving from a ceasefire to disarmament, technocratic governance, and reconstruction.
Phase B establishes a temporary technocratic Palestinian administration in the Gaza Strip, the National Committee for Gaza Administration (NCAG), and begins full disarmament and reconstruction of Gaza, primarily dismantling the weapons of all unauthorized groups.
The United States expects Hamas to fully meet its commitments, including the immediate return of the last murdered hostage (Ran Gualy). Failure to do so will have serious consequences.
It is important to note that Phase A provided historic humanitarian aid, maintained the ceasefire, returned all living hostages and the remains of 27 out of 28 hostages who were killed. We deeply thank Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar for their essential mediation efforts, which have enabled all progress so far.
Former pro footballer Mojtaba Tarshiz and his wife were murdered by the Islamic regime in Iran for speaking out.
They leave behind two young daughters, now without parents, because their mom and dad wanted freedom.
23-year-old Rubina Aminian was murdered by Iran’s regime for joining a protest. Her mother said, “I saw hundreds of bodies with my own eyes.”
This is a massacre. The world cannot remain silent.
