16th Edition of the Entrepreneurial Excellence Program: “Entrepreneurship Mindset – Skills for Success” On April 8, 2025, Value Initiative successfully organized the 16th edition of the Entrepreneurial Excellence Program at the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, in collaboration with the American Public Diplomacy Section. The program was officially opened by Ms. Naomi Fellows, Counselor for Public Diplomacy, who delivered inspiring remarks highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship in building a resilient and forward-looking Ethiopia. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Muluneh Taye, who shared valuable insights into the mindset and skills essential for entrepreneurial success in today’s economy. The session was professionally moderated by Mr. Abenezer Gebere, Project Manager at Value Initiative. Our featured speakers, Ms. Yoadan Tilahun and Captain Solomon, shared their impactful stories and engaged in a dynamic discussion under the theme “Entrepreneurship Mindset – Skills for Success.” Their experiences served as a powerful inspiration to the audience, emphasizing the role of determination, innovation, and vision in the entrepreneurial journey. The event drew over 120 participants, including recent graduates, aspiring entrepreneurs, and established business professionals. All seats were taken 30 minutes before the start of the program, a strong testament to the growing enthusiasm and commitment of Ethiopian youth to build their own paths through entrepreneurship. Value Initiative extends its deepest appreciation to the U.S. Embassy for their ongoing partnership and support. Their collaboration has been vital in making this program a platform for empowering emerging entrepreneurs across Ethiopia. We also thank our dedicated volunteers and the talented media team who helped make the event a success. Special thanks to Embakom Birhanu and the Tsinat Studio team for professionally capturing the event. Together, we are shaping a future driven by entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and impact.
