Heart broken boy with untold thoughts

Traumatized kid Messy hair, swollen eyes, so scared he may die My tiny hands refuse to get attached to pray for him to be alive My brain telling me that he’s dead and my heart has given up “There’s still hope, he may survive”, my mouth says, but it didn’t add up My brain couldn’t stop asking the question "what if he dies?" I’ve tried to process however I couldn’t find the answer but cry I’m I too strong for this or God just forgot my existence? I’m I meant to feel this or he’s just checking my presence? Heavy blankets When the alarm rings Declaring a new day, Dark-skinned hands would come out Cutting the voice right away.
