Footage of a copy of the Qurʾān found by a scuba diver at the bottom of the ocean has gone viral.
Ian Haggerty from South Africa spotted an open copy of the Qurʾān, 18 metres deep in the ocean, and uploaded the video on his TikTok account.
The open pages revealed the story of the Prophet Nuh AlayhiSalam and his people.
It has yet to be verified, how long the copy of this Qurʾān was at the bottom of the ocean.

Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allāh. And those with him are firm with the disbelievers and compassionate with one another.
You see them bowing and prostrating in prayer, seeking Allāh’s bounty and pleasure. The sign of brightness can be seen on their faces from the trace of prostrating in prayer.
This is their description in the Torah. And their parable in the Gospel is that of a seed that sprouts its tiny branches, making it strong. Then it becomes thick, standing firmly on its stem, to the delight of the planters - in this way Allāh makes the believers a source of dismay for the disbelievers.
To those of them who believe and do good, Allāh has promised forgiveness and a great reward.
[Sūrah al-Fath, Verse 29]

After years of persecution from the Quraysh, the muslims finally entered Makkah, peacefully, and openly practised Islām. This victory paved the way for the whole of Arabia to accept the faith.
The Conquest if Makkah also teaches us how the Prophet ﷺ made alliances with non-Muslims to preserve peace and security, it also teaches us to be patient and have faith in Allāh subḥānahū wa-taʿālā.
