MAJOR UPDATE on the Seth Rich Case – Hidden FBI Documents Surface Heres the latest on the Seth Rich situation. Attorney Ty Clevenger has been fighting for years to get FBI records on the 2016 murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich. Now hes saying a government lawyer told him that hundreds of pages of documents connected to Rich were found in a hidden room at FBI headquarters. They were inside burn bags set up for destruction along with other sensitive files from the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. These were uncovered after Kash Patel took over as FBI Director in February 2025. The room wasnt even on the blueprints and nobody had access for years. It looks like this material got tucked away and forgotten under the previous leadership. Christopher Wray ran the FBI from August 2017 through January 2025. The original Russia probe stuff started while James Comey was still director back in 2016 and 2017.Seth Rich was shot twice in the back near his DC apartment early on July 10 2016. Police have always said it was a botched robbery in a neighborhood that had seen a string of them. He died at the hospital and no arrests were ever made. His family has repeatedly asked people to stop turning his death into political fuel and they sued Fox News over stories that pushed the WikiLeaks angle. The new claims are stirring things up again on social media. Clevenger is still waiting to actually see the documents and the FBI has a track record of slow walking or fighting these releases. Whether anything new comes out about the murder or just more questions about how records were handled remains to be seen. Transparency on old high profile cases like this one matters.
