To people who are experiencing video glitches with this kernel The issue happens on some people while using Instagram, etc social media and various other media. I have investigated this issue with logs and I found that Exynos OMX libs are causing issues, Something with invaild index etc... So the fix for this is not on the kernel, instead on vendor. FIX Remove these files on vendor: /vendor/lib/omx/libOMX.Exynos.VP8.Decoder.so /vendor/lib/omx/libOMX.Exynos.VP9.Encoder.so /vendor/lib/omx/libOMX.Exynos.VP9.Decoder.so /vendor/lib64/omx/libOMX.Exynos.VP8.Decoder.so /vendor/lib64/omx/libOMX.Exynos.VP9.Encoder.so /vendor/lib64/omx/libOMX.Exynos.VP9.Decoder.so Replace these files on /vendor/etc: /vendor/etc/media_codecs.xml (attached) /vendor/etc/media_codecs_performance.xml (attached)
