Moving Forward - Part 3 There’s a storm brewing, we feel this so thoroughly. At some point we may have to step away from those who do not want shelter from it. You may not feel like that though. You may feel the need to reach as many as possible until the very end. If that’s your calling you should pursue it. What I’m suggesting if you are feeling exhausted and frustrated is perhaps you need to consider a different approach. Maybe it’s time to turn your attention elsewhere, too. Maybe you need a break from staying on top of the doomsday news stories. Maybe you need to prepare your homes for the hunkering down. Maybe you need to do whatever it takes to strengthen yourself to help others during the storm. And after it passes. I realized that devoting myself to waking others who do not wish to be awakened was swindling sweet, irreplaceable time from being fully engaged with my family. I realized that I can no longer wake up those in my sphere of influence who do not ask for it, appreciate it or want it. I continue to pray for God to stir them, of course. And I pray for God to prepare me for the aftermath. Perhaps at that point we will all truly be in this together. Curiously, there seems to be some comfort in that thought.

Moving Forward - Part 2 As the day dawned I realized there was no way I was going to accept responsibility for her, or anyone else’s choices. They have to own it. How do I move forward with my mom? I had this thought: if we were walking through the jungle and she was fatally bit by a venomous snake, and I only had minutes to be with her, would I berate her? Argue with her? Heap guilt upon her? Tell her how disappointed and angry I was with her? No! I would make the precious time I had left with her count. I would let her know I love her. We don’t know if there’s hope for those who have been vaccinated, and I don’t know exactly what and when to expect anything. But, I’m not going to chide her, I am not going to argue with her. It feels like the door to inform people has quietly closed and that my attention would be better served elsewhere. Since learning about my mom being vaccinated a few months ago, I shifted the focus from informing to (hopefully!) helping others. If an opportunity does present itself I will plant a seed, however I am not actively seeking out ways to inform folks.

Moving Forward - Part 1 “Didn’t I tell you? I got the covid vaccine months ago. Your brother and his family all got it, as well as my sisters.” I stare at the phone’s screen as sorrow envelops me, pressing against my heart and making it hard to breathe. My mom’s words blur as tears sting my eyes. After holding my breath for a few beats, I take in a long breath then slowly exhale. It doesn’t falter, but sounds sad to my ears, making my heart hurt a little more. I wish her sweet dreams, tell her I love her then shuffle towards the bedroom while useless questions like, “why?” cycle through my head. One of my first emotions to her news was a sense of betrayal, quickly followed by guilt. Anger reared its ugly head then I began to reason that maybe the doctors who warn against the vaccine are wrong. It was apparent I was working my way through the stages of grief. Upon learning she did this, it seemed reasonable to blame myself. That if only I had tried harder, tried different tactics, tried different materials to send her, she wouldn’t have done this. Feeling like I got pulled into a vortex of overwhelming anguish, I reach out to God, too shocked, too besieged with pain to actually form words. The intense fear of losing my beloved mom, my dearest friend, abates a bit and I am able to fall asleep.

Another idea… Have a small group of people (could just be you and a buddy) in a hospital parking lot (not blocking traffic or entrances). This is not to protest, but to pray over the hospital staff and patients. Subtle, no fanfare. If security or staff try to intimidate, you are exercising your first amendment rights. After all, who can really object to prayers for the infirm? Befriend the staff and security. The purpose of the prayer group would be to pray for healing of patients, a change of hearts, for whistleblowers to come forward, for the truth to be revealed, and to rebuke the enemy. With Jericho in mind, have 2-3 people quietly walk around the hospital. Again, no fanfare, subtle. Be aware of Matthew 6:5 (And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others…) Yet, we need to pray together (Matthew 18:20 and 1 Corinthians 14:16).

Another idea… Regardless if you have kids in school, start attending school board meetings. All over your county if you’re able. This isn’t about needing to speak up, but having your presence counted. Let the pseudo-overlords witness a sea of freedom loving Americans displayed before them. Grab a few friends and make a day/night of it, getting some coffee/dessert afterwards. Do the same for your town and/or county board meetings. Your very presence has an impact!

Think of it like Yelp –which has become anti-freedom. It doesn’t haven’t to be overly complicated. Patriots can know who to peacefully shun. The domain is set; if we can find other uses, great! What else do patriots need at this time? And in the months to come.

This certainly does not need to be limited to the medical community. Sports, schools, retail, restaurants. Anti-freedom is insidious thus good patriots must be alerted to its presence. Why do this when the election will be overturned? Because even if Trump officially steps back into the high office in a month, we have quite the road of recovery ahead of us. The Good Guys work from the top; we work literally from the ground up. Remember, “When we have an idea sometimes we just have to go for it.” Yesterday morning, I did. I bought a domain name. So at least one thing is off the check-list. Here’s where I cannot do this alone. Though I have some experience with designing websites, I have none with databases, forms, and private servers. I have no idea what it takes to ensure this isn’t deplatformed. I have no idea if we can find someone who would charge a nominal fee or volunteer their expertise. I have some other ideas as well, however I wanted to get the ball rolling with brainstorming for this one. Can you help get the word out? Can we find some patriots who know how to build a website of this caliber, for this purpose?

Hello Gorgeous Patriots! Thank you for your kind words and prayers. It helped! I pulled back from sharing my main idea yesterday after reading about the threat’s Lin Wood received; it was staggering! However, after someone happened to mention the very idea I had in mind in the chat during the wee hours, I realized I needed to at least present the idea. First, I must stress this: I absolutely, unequivocally do not advocate violence, or harassing people. This is a peaceful approach. What I’ve been mulling over for about 4 days now is patriots needing a place online where they can share and find the information of medical professionals and facilities who refuse to help humanity. No doxing, no harassing, no intimidating, no threatening, no violence. Just a simple, matter-of-fact list of these un-American individuals, practices and places who will not help secure freedom nor help humanity. So why not list the individuals, practices and places who love freedom? Because the unhinged, mentally unstable Left will target good folk. The left, the communists, the Marxists –the evil doers, they want to gather their malicious forces against us. They want to keep us from being employed, traveling, applying our rights, going to our places of worship, being with our families and educating our children. These anti-freedom advocates have willfully chosen to be on the wrong side of history. On the other hand, we are kind, thoughtful and intelligent so let’s help them advertise their malevolence! 😃

I was looking for something to summarize the day’s events… something that would comfort the heavy hearts from losing The Keeper of The People’s Bridge… something that would capture the grief of those who have lost loved ones during these remarkable times… But, everything I considered seemed too gloomy or even verbose. Veronica unabashedly loved America. She envisioned great things for our future. So for all those who have passed, for all those who have grown weary, let us Freedom Fighters carry the mantle of making sure the American spirit amplifies.

My thoughts were jumbled all day, and every time I tried to grab one to untangle it, all of them scattered like wind disturbing a pile of leaves. I want something tangible, not platitudes. And I know I’m not alone. I refuse to even take a moment to cry. I refuse to let another day go by without boldly declaring, “Enough!” And I know I’m not alone. As the day wore on, ideas were colliding inside my head. What could patriots do that is non-violet yet effective. How do we fight back against an enemy that is despicable, vile, hateful –and backed entirely by evil?... When we have an idea sometimes we just have to go for it. Sometimes we feel tiny with our ideas, like stepping into an arena with giants waiting to defeat you yet we need to step forth anyway. I might fall spectacularly with this one. But, not trying is no longer an option. Let me prayerfully think over this some more before sharing a possible idea. Please pray for my discernment, because I am concerned about protecting my family. I’ve always been involved in various things –but, behind the scenes. That’s more my style. I cannot do this one alone though.

It was like 'old home town reunion day' with the Patriots of Chicago today. I LOVED the responses, the smiles, 'hearts', thumbs up, power fists, and everything in between... That came up to my humble post. 'Teachers-of-men showed up in force, I must tell you... Including one CPD that put his hands together in prayer, to send a blessing up to We Patriots, the 1st time that has ever happened. Words carry power I have found- And, today, the power of Good....
