I'd like to know how y'all been affected by the covid virus. That is, have you been struck ill? What was it like? How has your recovery come along? Do you have any lingering issues? How are you handling these new health challenges? I think it may do us some good to read other's stories and learn what methods have helped. Please share your experiences!

Ever have one of those days that after you look back upon it you realize what a peculiar yet oddly wonderful day you had? I had errands to run to get ready for a high school event for Friday and for a neighborhood get together we're having Sunday. I stopped by a local community center that helps out our homeschool organization. The manager saw my Star Wars shirt then excitedly showed me some of his Star Wars tattoos. (For as long as I can remember, strangers and hardly known acquaintances have opened up to me.) He shared some of the changes that are coming. I asked if they planned on hosting a "family-friendly" drag show -he said no, but didn't feel there was a problem with the shows. I gently shared some opposing views (in a humorous way) and by the end, feel I gave him something to ponder. You just never who God will put in your path to possibly influence! Later, as Felix and I left Costco, I couldn't help but wonder how many people are going about their business, unaware of the chaos that is brewing -has been brewing, and are unprepared for it. It compels me to pray earnestly for God's spirit to move among the people!! What are y'all experiencing when you're out and about? Have you been able to plants seeds of hope, represent the Kingdom of God or show others a different way to view things? Is it hectic out there? What are people's mood? How are the supplies in your area? Is the inflation creeping or shooting straight up? We've had Bunny for 7 months now. When I first got her some of her favorite treats the bag was $3.49. Over the summer, it went to $4.99 then $5.99. Thursday's stop at the store... the treats are now $6.99. Also, speaking of sharing what's happening in your neck of the woods, I debated sharing the below post at this time, but after seeing a comment in the chat, I feel I need to post now 👇🏻

Friends - It was in the hopes by cleaning up the channel, the bots would move along. Kinda like getting rid of old cobwebs in your home so you're not advertising for new ones to come rent a space next to the dust bunnies. Other than bots and spammers, we do not ban folks around here. I have personally never banned anyone for sharing their thoughts and opinions. Telegram hasn't been a concern for banning anyone from the channel either. (But they seriously need to get rid of the bots.) Until the last couple of days, I used to be able to add folks to the main channel; now I can only add to the chat. Need to research this but haven't had time. I will need to try to run some programs again. I attempted this in the homeschool channel well over a year ago and failed spectacularly (the only way to fail, truly). I have changed the comment time to one minute (meaning you have to wait one minute after commenting before you can post another comment). Maybe we need to bump it up to five minutes temporarily but I don't want to stifle quick moving conversations... We will get this figured out! Yes, all the channels have a problem with the spam if they allow comments and they're pubic. And all the channels have faux followers. Please don't worry about changing your avatar though I absolutely love your creatively for the cookies!! Thank you again for your patience!! Love y'all!

The over-the-top silliness posted above was my way of saying that I may have become just a little bit, teeny-tiny overzealous in wanting to boot the bots. While I’m quite proud that 1,750 deletions took place, I am sorry if someone unintentionally fell victim to the pink slip. Reach out to me so we can get you re-instated. Now, if only I can convince my friends here to change their avatar to, oh I don’t know let’s just be random and say a cookie, for 48 hours or so we could really knock some of these pests out of the way! Have you ever started eating a little pint of ice cream with the plan that you’ll just enjoy half of it then you when you get to the halfway mark you realize that if the first half was that splendid surely the second half would be utterly fantastic, besides you’d be doing the world a favor by just consuming the melty goodness before it got even meltier… so in your benevolent resolve you consume the second half then metaphorically leap into that sugary daze with the satisfaction of knowing that nothing can dampen your mood as your mind drifts into that delirious state of bliss shutting out crazy notions like self-control and responsibilities and if you close your eyes for just a few moments it seems to multiple your joy and you can’t quite explain why ice cream is so very satisfactory, it just is… then when you open your eyes and cast them to the empty ice cream container you wonder if you went too far but realize the siren call of cream and sugar and chocolate is worth the trip to Ice Cream Delirium™ and promise yourself that next time you’ll be a little more prudent with your frozen consumption… Yeah, me either. 🍦🍧🍨🍦🍧🍨🍦🍧🍨🍦🍧🍨

He knows; He plans before we even turn a page. An earthly vote or not, you made your voice heard in the heavenly realm. He knows our angst, our frustration, our concerns. Pray for patience, fortitude and wisdom. Rest easy in His presence. Bask in His glory. Embrace His goodness.
