When I look at Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You care for him? - Psalm 8:3-4 Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades or loose the cords of Orion? Can you lead forth the Mazzaroth in their season, or can you guide the Bear with its children? Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you establish their rule on the earth? - Job 38:31-33 I made the earth and created man on it; it was My hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host. - Isaiah 45:12 For the stars of heaven and their constellations... - Isaiah 13:10 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. - 1 Corinthians 15:41 And one of my all time favorite verses: He determines the number of the stars; He gives to all of them their names. - Psalm 147:4

There's something so gorgeous and peaceful and lovely about a first snowfall. I'm confident there will be places in Heaven where we can frolic and relax in the snow. Can you imagine just how spectacular it'll appear in the place Christ has prepared for us? We received a little over 6 inches of snow overnight and through Friday (we live east outside Memphis). While taking the backyard video, you can hear the church bells from the old-timey church in our neighborhood. Near our front door it appears a critter visited us -which is not unusual. Tomorrow there are plans to play and sled and explore ❄️

I shared this meme under Comedy Wednesday yesterday. Can we just talk about how there are 8 of you who celebrate one of my faults?! 😂 PS - All 8 of you are now my best friends and we ought to extol the moment with cookies 😏

Yesterday is done, the ink still wet on the pages. Today, God has already prepared the path. He did it yesterday, too, and He's already there at tomorrow's page. He knows. He plans before you even turn a page. You made your voice heard in the Heavenly realm. He knows your angst, your frustration, your concerns. Pray for patience, fortitude, and wisdom. Rest easy in His presence. Bask in His glory. Embrace His goodness.
