Reminders from our Predecessors

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: “If you see a person whose liking and interest is in listening to music instead of listening to the Qur’ān, then this is the strongest proof that his heart is empty of the love of Allāh and His Words.” [Al-Jawāb al-Kāfī | 1/170]

🌨🍃 ضجُّوا السَّمَاء بِأَصْوَاتِكُم كَبِّرُوا وَهَلِّلُوا وَاحْمدُوا اللَّهَ كثيراً فَنَحْنُ فِي أَحَبِّ الْأَيَّامِ وَأَعْظَمُهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ. اللَّهُ أكبَرُ، اللَّهُ أكبَرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أكبَرُ، وَلِلَّهِ الحَمد اللَّهُ أكبَرُ كَبيرًا، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا وسُبحَانَ اللَّهِ بُكرَةً وأَصيلًا

لا تنسوا السودان ...تحدثوا عن السودان

Imam Shafi’i رحمه الله said: ‎“Conceal your hardship so much so the people presume you are blessed and have an easy life.” ‎[Manaqib ash-Shafi’i, 2/188]

𝕃𝕠𝕨𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝔾𝔸ℤ𝔼➳ 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒈𝒂𝒛𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒐𝒏 𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒂 𝒕𝒐𝒐. 𝑯𝑨𝒀𝑨 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒉 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒆𝒏 & 𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏,𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒕, 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒏&𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒎𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏. 𝘼 𝙡𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙪𝙚 "𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙥" 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙣 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙞𝙩𝙣𝙖.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: “Do not carry the worries of this life because this is for Allāh. And do not carry the worries of sustenance because it is from Allāh. And do not carry anxiety for the future because it is in the Hands of Allāh. Carry one thing; pleasing Allāh. Because if you please Him, He pleases you, fulfils you and enriches you.”

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: ‎“If the heart is troubled and worried it has nothing to be comforted with, ‎except the remembrance of Allāh.” ‎[Madaarij as-Salikeen | 3/72]

‎Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: “Whoever reflects upon the dunya and hereafter will know that he cannot attain one of them except with difficulty, so let him bare the difficulty for the one that is better and more lasting." ‎[al-Fawā’id | Pg. 37]
