Now worth ZERO. This trade simply didn't work.
Today's session was completely dominated by option writers, with premium erosion across the board.
Market View:
- Index action remained mildly negative, but bears still don't have a convincing upper hand.
- The broader market was surprisingly strong.
- US futures are trading with healthy gains.
- The biggest risk at the moment remains crude oil.
Despite today's outcome, my view hasn't changed.
I'm still holding my bullish stance and continuing to hold my call options.
In my opinion, the market is building energy for a 300–400 point move, with 24,650 as the next potential upside target.
Not every trade works. What matters is staying disciplined and sticking to the plan.
Expiry spoiled the bullish day.

| 3 | Another encouraging sign today: despite pressure on Bank Nifty, both the Midcap and Smallcap indices are closing around 0.5% higher. That's a healthy sign of underlying market strength, with broader participation still intact.
The only concern remains Crude Oil. It opened nearly 3% higher compared to Friday's close, but over the last couple of hours, sellers have stepped in aggressively. Crude has already fallen about $3 from the morning high, forming two strong bearish hourly candles. If crude remains mildly negative, it could remove a major headwind and give the markets a good chance to build upside momentum.
Remember, the real strength of a bull market is tested on bad-news days. If the market opens weak due to negative news but manages to recover at least 50% of the intraday losses by the close, it signals that buyers are still firmly in control.
My view remains unchanged: NIFTY is likely to move towards 24,650.
