🌟 Host-Company Orientation Session has been successfully organized within YPIP framework on May 2, 2024! 🚀 Funded by the US Embassy Tashkent and implemented by American Councils this year, YPIP program celebrates a remarkable milestone with the participation of 75 outstanding university students representing diverse regions of Uzbekistan. Additionally, American Councils honored to welcome 32 esteemed host companies, spanning various sectors including international and local NGOs, as well as esteemed fields such as fintech, marketing, engineering, project management and etc. 📌The orientation provided host companies the opportunity to learn more about the program's goals, objectives, and the chance to ask questions about hosting interns. 🎯Program alumni from previous cohorts also joined the event and shared their experience and achievements.

🏫In Uzbekistan, USAID continues its efforts to help local youth become competitive in the labor market, shape their employment skills, and contribute to the economic development of their country. On April 18 USAID’s “Youth Employment Skills (YES)” Activity organized a round table for the pilot school principals devoted to the “Building effective linkages between school and entrepreneurs”. The event took place at the specialized school of vocational education #190, located in the Mirzo-Ulugbek District of Tashkent. It was also attended by representatives of MOPSE.

✨ YPIP Alumni Reunion! 🌟On April 20, 2024, the Young Professional Internships Program, funded by the US Embassy Tashkent and implemented by American Councils, brought its alumni together for a heartwarming lunch at Holiday Inn Tashkent! 🌐Beyond program completion, YPIP community continues to flourish through invaluable networking opportunities. In a joyful atmosphere, YPIP alumni not only shared their stories but also engaged in a unique pitching session, where each member celebrated their successes one by one. 🚀 Additionally, fun game has been initiated by alumni where they asked each other questions. During the process alumni were able to know each other better. This made them feel closer and helped them understand each other more.
