Global Market Heatmap Global markets were mixed, with US equities largely steady, while the Nikkei gained 0.42% and European indices declined. In commodities, crude oil advanced over 1.4%, while natural gas slipped. Metals were mostly weaker, with gold, silver, platinum, palladium and copper declining, while aluminum gained 1.38%. The US dollar index eased slightly to 98.52, while the yen strengthened.
