Global Market Snapshot Global markets traded mixed, with US indices posting gains as the Nasdaq 100 rose 1.16% and the S&P 500 gained 0.69%, while European indices edged lower and the VIX surged 7.32%, indicating heightened volatility. Crude oil prices declined, with WTI falling 1.56% and Brent dropping 1.78%, while natural gas slipped 1.25%. In metals, gold rose 0.25%, silver gained 0.56%, platinum advanced 1.56%, and copper increased 0.74%. Among industrial commodities, aluminum gained 0.47%, while uranium rose 0.17%. In currencies, the US dollar index remained steady at 101.66, while the euro weakened 0.08% against the dollar.
