Q- Can two guys can hv same rank like-AIR 3, then who will get more priority in ONGC interview? A- Yes many guys can have same rank based on their numbers in GATE. But then there wont be any lower ranks for the repeated number of ranks above. example- Let us say, in GATE both you and one other guy gets AIR-3, then AIR-4 wont be there. Similarly if 5 guys are having AIR-6 rank based on their numbers in GATE then, GATE result wont have 7,8,9,10 &11 ranks and u will have Rank AIR-12 after AIR-6. In ONGC, GATE Score is used for calculations of aggregate marks. If two candidates having same score then based on their ages, in the list the older one will be considered above the person with lower age. Q- When and How to challenge Heat exchanger question in GATE2021? How much will it cost? A- You can only challenge any question after the official keys are published. May be, in Official keys, they may already give bonus on that question. Wait for it. If u find they hv not given any bonus on that question then u can challenge and the amount is refundable if challenge made is accepted.

See, GATE exam requires thorough concept building that will be build when you do SELF STUDY from standard books of Petroleum Engineering. There are no other ways for getting good ranks. While they can try to confuse u via ads, You should better ask independent GATE toppers personally, they will always tell you about books to study according to GATE syllabus. Remember, no question in GATE exam is asked apart from the syllabus provided. So, Study syllabus wise from the standard books. It will take time to cover books but once you complete it, the confidence u get will be enormous. It will develop good command on subject basics required for GATE. You wont be dependent on anyone. And secondly tell me, if in the end, anyway you hv decided to study standard books also then what is the need of material, See their material itself is copied from the standard books only...!! So, you should not waste your time or money depending on people, who themselves doing this in their spare time. At this age you should be smart enough to make your own short notes from standard books. When u make ur own notes from the standard books, u will find how easily u can revise them as well.! And if u find this note making task difficult then friends you have no idea where and with whom you r competing here in GATE exam.! We dont want to take more of ur time, just ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS [Yes OR No]: 1-During preparation you will NOT study standard books like-Tarek Ahmad, Buon Guo, Arnold, Rabia, John Lee, Paul Glover, etc.. GM Friends, Just wanted to discuss this with you because we were getting msgs related to this.. In general the marks distribution in GATE follows like this SECTION-A- Ques 1-5=1 Marks Ques-6-10=2 Marks SECTION-B- Ques 1-25=1Marks Ques- 26-55=2 Marks Now, we have compared 11 responses sheets of GATEPE & It is noticed tht even in section-A, different candidates are having different questions and not following above pattern..Like- for some guys few questions in Q1-5(should be ideally 1 mrks) are there from Q- 6 to 10 Of other students response. So, in that way even if u follow above marks distribution also, u may end up calculating incorrect marks. So, my suggestion is to wait for the Master Question Paper and Master Keys from IITB. Most probably IIT will release Keys today or tomorrow. Then you can rightly calculate the marks by comparing with Master keys. 👉🏼One important Note: Do download your response sheets in pdf, as it is noticed from the past years that once the Master keys are uploaded by IIT your responses will be removed from your account, you may not be able to check them later on. So do note about that!! Thanks
