A woman has said that she was promised a job at the Teachers Service Commission through the office of Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot.
According to the woman, she was asked to pay KSh 200,000 to facilitate the job. She says she made the payment but was later ignored and has not received the job she was promised.
She claims to have M-PESA statements showing the payments and says she is ready to provide them as evidence.

The National Assembly has passed the Sports (Amendment) Bill, 2026, introducing tougher measures against match fixing and manipulation of sporting competitions.
