Philosophizing isn't inherently bad or vile, but the conclusions people make after digging deep enough are not distinct from the fears of those who chose not to go down that path. Greeks, Romans, stoics.... all fun and games Then it's Dostoevsky, Camus, Sartre... the gloomy lot, I must say. And some go as far as acute liberalism, manifestation of one's pursuit for full autonomy over him/herself (usually displayed in the form of lgbt activism, eerie colorful mob movements, bringing full on devastation and cacophany to everyone around, or gender transformation), suicide, development of a personal religious/ideological framework, deviation from societal norms, obscurity in the perception of morality and immorality, (signs of) insanity, psycopathy, sociopathy, and overall inklings of derangement. At the end, you come to realize that you have the freedom to choose what to believe in and what not to put your hope in, what aspects of life you should be concerned about and what aspects you should ignore, and what kind of life you want and don't want to lead. There's nothing wrong in anything, there's only our standpoint that draws the line of universal goodhood and malevolence. P.s. believe me, you cannot even fathom how far our minds can take us. for some it's an unparalleled instrument of unmatched power and potential and, for some, the most calluous damnation. #thoughts

If the descent is thus sometimes performed in sorrow, it can also take place in joy. This word is not too much. Again I fancy Sisyphus returning toward his rock, and the sorrow was in the beginning. When the images of earth cling too tightly to memory, when the call of happiness becomes too insistent, it happens that melancholy arises in man’s heart: this is the rock’s victory, this is the rock itself. The boundless grief is too heavy to bear…But crushing truths perish from being acknowledged. I leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain! One always finds one’s burden again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that night filled mountain, in itself forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man’s heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy. #yeah

MacBook's battery is freaking awesome! Got nearly 100 tabs open, PyCharm running 2 projects, Spotify on, Telegram, a PDF opened, Canva... Has been toiling since midday. Never regret investing in this one. A friendly advice: if you want to get a laptop, get one with the quality that is either of MacBook or can at least come close to it; better to get a quality product for a relatively higher price and enjoy all the perks for a longer time than recklessly (and frugally) get a cheap one and hit the repair shops every month to help it function a little less laggingly. #legit

GPT 4o is GOATED! Freakish advancement with vision. The terminator already has eyes!👀 If you saw the video with Salman Khan and his son, you probably know what I am talking about. Chat GPT was able to see the screen live and explain the problem to the guy with minimal latency. To me, it almost felt like a completely real and natural conversation. Tone of voice, pauses, and language - all incredibly natural. Now imagine hooking this up to a robot with cameras. It'll be able to tell where it is, recognize objects around him, and, with some modifications, even interact with its surroundings. I've never thought that we can come this close to this concept... Your thoughts on this?

Things I want to do in summer 1) learn ui/ux design (extremely important for making pleasant-looking web/app designs) 2) delve deep into front-end (finally get my hands on js and its frameworks (esp react), learn the new css frameworks like sass, tailwind, etc.) 3) learn django, python-telegram-bot + aiogram, rest api (grants the ability to build powerful ecosystems) 4) take a good maths course (from trig to calculus and beyond) 5) make the personal website (have been laying it aside for too long) 6) enjoy the time with friends and family before leaving abroad (across-country trip in the bucket list) 7) do some sports (weights, boxing, taekwondo, running) Going to take much diligence and constancy... ROCK itt. 😤 #yeah

Happiness is not a gift, happiness is a choice. You don't get happiness as a present. You decide whether you are happy or not. Even in your lowest you can choose to feel grateful for what you have and where you are. It's the ones that constantly complain, judge, and compare that are truly unhappy, because their corrupt thoughts and spirits do not give them room to actually realize how much they have and how fortunate they are to be alive. Seneca says, "It is not the man who has too little, but the man who craves more, that is poor." So, the man who does not have much can be happier than the man who owns the world, because the man who owns the world cannot stop for a second and say "thanks, God. you gave me this much. I am very thankful." but rather always complains that he doesn't have enough. #thoughts

Courage to do things that are necessary yet inherently painful. Courage to say 'no' to certain things and individuals. Courage to take control over your life and finally start doing the right thing right now. At some point in life, life will tap us on our shoulder and offer the chance to do a very special thing, unique to us and fitted to our talents. As Churchill says, "What a tragedy if that moment finds them unprepared or unqualified for that which could have been their finest hour." Life is very simple yet inexplicably intricate at the same time. I like to think it's simple: you need to give something up in order to get something you want. Right sacrifices will lead to the right results. #thoughts

Reflecting on past events is like analyzing your past chess games. In chess, when you analyze your past games properly, you'll get to know where you and why you made a blunder or where and how you could make a better and more pivotal move. Same is in our casual lives - the more we take a look back and scrutinize what and how happened, the better and more efficacious moves we'll make. And that, ladies and gentlemen, was my reflection for today. #thoughts
