Thrower Balance Changes (September 2026) NOT LIVE YET Some balance changes are coming affecting the Thrower in a future game maintenance, early next week. The reasoning from the Clash of Clans Team is as follows: "We're making a targeted balance adjustment to the Thrower. Over the last few weeks, armies using Throwers appeared in roughly one-third of attacks in both Ranked and regular Clan Wars. Their 3-star rates were around 50% in Ranked and 64% in wars, compared with overall rates of 41% and 56%. We want Thrower armies to remain a strong choice, but there's room to bring their power down a little and give other strategies more space."
