The FED voted 9–3 to hold interest rates steady at 3.50%–3.75%.(See the ACT data as attached 👆) Initially, the price of Gold Spot whipped /spiked up!🔼,it later 🔽. A closer look att the FOMC scenario 👇
1️⃣. While the Fed officially paused, the vote revealed a major internal rift. Three regional bank presidents (Hammack, Kashkari, and Logan) dissented in favor of an immediate 25 bps rate hike due to persistent energy inflation and Middle East geopolitical tensions.
2️⃣. Based on the market 💱 It is being treated as a "Hawkish Hold." The presence of three dissenters pushes the probability of a September rate hike significantly higher, keeping persistent downward🔽 pressure on Gold (XAU/USD)..
