🚨#ScamAlert 🚨 We are aware of a fake SMS informing users that their Singpass account has expired and needs to be reactivated. The SMS contains a link to a fake website phishing for the user's Singpass ID, password and 2FA details. A police report has been lodged and the website has been blocked. We urge all Singpass users to remain vigilant when transacting online: 1) 🧐 Always check the website domain when accessing a service. The official website for Singpass is singpass.gov.sg 2) 🙅Do not click on unverified links from unknown senders. Singpass does not send SMS with hyperlinks 3) 🤔 If you are unsure of the legitimacy of a message, verify directly with the official agency/ organisation.
