| 2 | The Greatest Secret to Success in Forex Trading: Never Give Up
In 2021, I was introduced to a young businessman who owned a shop behind the University of Zambia. Knowing my passion for Forex trading, he reached out and asked me to mentor him.
Before we began, I insisted that we meet in person. After several weeks, we finally met, and his mentorship journey began.
Once he completed the training, he started trading. Like many beginners, he experienced early success. Then the market humbled him. He lost $4,000.
Frustrated, he deleted MetaTrader 5, left every Telegram and WhatsApp trading group, and disappeared from the trading world.
I didn't chase him. Sometimes, experience teaches lessons that no mentor can.
Two years later, in 2023, he returned with a new mindset.
"I want to become a full-time trader," he told me.
I encouraged him but reminded him that full-time trading requires discipline, emotional control, and patience. We spent hours discussing the realities of the market and the mindset needed to succeed.
A few weeks later, he deposited $166 into his Deriv account.
When I called to check on his progress, he told me he had blown the account. I accepted his answer and moved on.
Three weeks later, he walked into my office with a huge smile.

Everything I've shared here is true, and the trading records can be produced for evidence.
The real secret to success in Forex trading is simple:
Never give up.
Every successful trader has blown an account.
Every experienced trader has faced disappointment.
Every consistently profitable trader has survived moments that made quitting seem easier than continuing.
The difference is simple:
Winners don't succeed because they never fail.
