Pectra ETH upgrade looks good. ⛓ Epochs have been finalised, and looks like things are operating again. We have re-enabled quoting, so swaps are back on the menu.

Pectra ETH upgrade info: ⛓ We’ll be pausing ETH quoting a few minutes before the upcoming hard fork to monitor Ethereum finalization after the upgrade. There’s no expected functional impact, so safe mode isn’t necessary, but this precaution helps us avoid any potential finalization issues. Quoting should resume roughly 15 minutes later, once finalization is confirmed.

🚨 We’ve identified issues with our public RPC endpoint: https://mainnet-rpc.chainflip.io/. It’s currently not responding as expected. We’re actively investigating and will provide updates as soon as we have more information. ⚠️ As a result: • Swap quotes in our app are currently unavailable. • LPs using the public RPC will also experience disruptions. • Quotes for integrations should continue to function normally. Thanks for your patience, we’ll keep you posted.

⛓ BTC Transaction Delays ⛓ Due to a recent surge in Bitcoin network activity, broadcasted transactions are piling up and fees have spiked significantly. At the moment, we’re hitting the limit of 25 chained unconfirmed transactions in the mempool, which is causing delays. Our broadcasts are queued and are currently estimated to be included in the next few hours. We’re actively monitoring the situation and will keep you informed. Nothing to worry about—funds are safe and everything is operating as expected under the circumstances. Thanks for your patience.

We have temporarily paused quoting on BTC sells in order to mitigate against the risk of potentially illicit flows entering the DEX. Broker level screening appears to be ineffective due to slow or no response times from screening tools that are used to check transactions on swap.chainflip.io and elsewhere. We have escalated with our provider Elliptic and they are working on a response to bring back effective screening functionality. The protocol remains live and no explicit restrictions on trading are in place. LPs are advised to let us know immediately if any issues on centralised exchanges occur. We think this is very unlikely but is important to know. Happy Sunday!
