| 18 |  There’s been some talk in recent weeks about a candidate running for office in the Israel election, who goes by the name of Yeshua Ben David.
While it’s an eyebrow raising name for those watching world events, it’s likely nothing of particular significance.
I’ve spent some time out there and it’s not uncommon for fringe religious zealots to do things like this. In Israel there is a lot more crossover between politics and religion (as one can imagine).
But the chances of an independent candidate such as this to even win one seat, let alone become leader, is barely even considered. The runnings, polls and predictions don’t even include this outcome as even 3.25% of the vote is unlikely.
