#QRIXKUOR surface once more to bring the crepuscular whispers of 2021’s Poison Palinopsia LP and 2022’s Zoetrope EP to a roaring, terrifying and triumphant crowning crescendo with their 2nd full-length album, entitled The Womb of the World, to be released on Friday 7th November by #Invictus_Productions in Europe and #Dark_Descent Records in the USA. Once again recorded, mixed and mastered on familiar ground at Priory Recording Studios in Birmingham, England by #Greg_Chandler (ESOTERIC) and emblazoned with a much-expanded outer and inner gatefold piece by Zoetrope artist-extraordinaire Santiago Caruso (as well as additional insert art contributed by Nuno Zuki), The Womb of the World further defies the dogmas of death and black metal by dragging them deeper still into the depths of textural and timbral delirium, more so than its predecessors even dared fathom, augmented throughout its 4 chapters by the sinistrous siren song of The Orchestra of the Silent Stars. The venomous tongues of guest-contributor slithering serendipity herself Jaded fucking Lungs (ADORIOR) maniacally guide And You Shall Know Perdition As Your Shrine into the album’s eponymous climax, a tumultuous ending in fire certain to be the apotheosis of QRIXKUOR’s vision to date. The Womb of the World is the echo of time tearing itself apart, a dauntless deliverance of dissolution. Perhaps now the seas can be still at last…

Promotional Note: #HASARD's first album from 2023, "Malivore" was undoubtedly a success, as unexpected as it was deserved. The project was born from an offshoot of LES CHANTS DU HASARD, today still committed to revisiting nineteenth-century symphonic music in the light of a black metal attitude. In HASARD the perspective is reversed: the darkest and most dissonant black metal is the fertile ground on which fascinating orchestral melodies with a dark, melancholic and resigned mood flourish. The music of "Abgnose" is in the continuity of "Malivore," but diving deeper into nightmarish atmospheres, twisted harmonies and the interaction between orchestra and a typical metal instrumentation. In sole-member Hazard's words, "Abgnose is a testament to the greater force that governs our lives, neither a god or a devil, but only pure chance. There is no greater entity sitting in the sky or below the earth, who watches with interest our petty lives. Only pure chance and random events. We spend a short amount of time as a small point on an equally small planet lost somewhere in the universe and we die, only for our futile achievements to be forgotten as fast as we’re replaced. Just count the here and now, as there’s no afterlife. Abgnose stands for removing the idea of the divine, thus leaving only the despair of having to live and not be rewarded for our actions in this world." Always deeper into nightmares, always further into despair… To what end? That’s a question HASARD keep asking at every note.
