Sunspot AR3664 (now AR3697) which caused massive auroral displays a few weeks ago, is still active and rotating back to earth-facing. More earthbound solar flares and coronal mass ejections (CMEs) aren’t entirely unexpected. We should be aware of the impact of solar storms on earth’s magnetosphere without dismissing as engineered manmade events, or by buying into fear porn.
