And here is a usual message: a planned ISS orbit correction was performed today at 09:52 UTC in preparation for the #SoyuzMS27 arrival. #ProgressMS30 engines fired for 1035.5 sec with an impulse of 2.06 m/s, increasing the station's orbit altitude for 3.6 km.

An ISS orbit correction was performed today, and before I tell you the usual numbers, I want to share this video by Ivan Vagner: https://t.me/ivan_mks63/1305. He showed how a Progress' engine boost feels like inside the station using a plastic bag and candies.

I'm back from my little vacation. Sorry for not covering the latest space events, I'll be posting here more often now.

The new head of Roscosmos, 39 years old Dmitry Bakanov, was born in Leninsk (Baikonur), graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance with a degree in Economics. After some years of work as a financial specialist in banks and IT companies, he was appointed President, and then CEO of the Gonets Satellite System Company. In May 2019 he moved to the Ministry of Transport, where he took up the post of Director of the Digital Transformation Department, and since April 2022 - Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia.

Sources believe that the reasons for Yuri Borisov's dismissal are problems with the creation of a satellite constellation, a decrease in number of launches, recent incidents and accidents in space, as well as uncertainty about the creation of the National Space Center in Moscow.
