Soyuz 2.1a with #ProgressMS30 cargo spacecraft is vertical on Pad 31 of Baikonur cosmodrome. The launch is scheduled for February 27, 21:24 UTC.

#ProgressMS28 cargo spacecraft will undock the ISS Zvezda module at 20:17 UTC on February 25. The deorbit maneuver is scheduled for 23:25 UTC. Roscosmos announced only the VK stream yet, but possibly the YouTube stream will be announced later.

#Soyuz2.1a with #ProgressMS30 cargo ship has been assembled on Pad 31 of Baikonur. The spacecraft will deliver to the ISS 2599 kg of cargo, including 1179 kg of equipment, scientific experiments, food, clothes etc, 950 kg of fuel, 420 kg of water and 50 kg of nitrogen. A new EVA spacesuit Orlan-MKS No 6 is also on board.

#ProgressMS30 with the interstage has been covered with fairing on Pad 254 of Baikonur cosmodrome. Tomorrow it will be transported to the assembly and test building on Pad 31, near the launch site, where it will be assembled with the Soyuz rocket.

By Putin's Decree No. 82 dated February 18, 2025, the former head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, was appointed special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for international cooperation in space. Previously, this position was held by Sergey Krikalev.

#ProgressMS30 is getting ready for flight to the ISS. After fueling it has been moved to the assembly and testing facility, where the ship will undergo the last pre-flight tests and loaded with cargo. The launch is scheduled for February 27, 21:24 UTC.

The new head of Roscosmos, 39 years old Dmitry Bakanov, was born in Leninsk (Baikonur), graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance with a degree in Economics. After some years of work as a financial specialist in banks and IT companies, he was appointed President, and then CEO of the Gonets Satellite System Company. In May 2019 he moved to the Ministry of Transport, where he took up the post of Director of the Digital Transformation Department, and since April 2022 - Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia.

Sources believe that the reasons for Yuri Borisov's dismissal are problems with the creation of a satellite constellation, a decrease in number of launches, recent incidents and accidents in space, as well as uncertainty about the creation of the National Space Center in Moscow.
