For those asking how to make Circle to search work (on builds with it enabled already), you can do 2 things 1. Clean flash, update Google app from Play store and setup Google Assistant and download updates for it. 2. If you dirty flashed, uninstall Google app update and clear data the app as well, and it should be fine afterwards.

Mayank has dropped his username to use as a channel to spread lies but is still an admin in @Poco_F5_INDIA. He's the same guy acting as a fake account hello nobody fans and can be seen harassing well-known AOSPA developer ghostrider_reborn, alleging that he has bricked F5 devices. (See @coco_halloffame)

After a thorough investigation by me and several other users as well as POCO group admins, it has been determined that @M4y4nky is a serial harasser and causes trouble in several Xiaomi related groups. He stalks developers personal social media accounts, saves them and posts personal photos with family members to telegram for all users to see. He also makes deepfake videos of developers and personal details to spam in several groups. The same individual makes several fake accounts to use to join groups and spam his deepfakes and his posts to continue to harass and defame developers. We hereby block him from all Evolution X related groups and we encourage other ROM and device moderators to ban and completely oust him from telegram.

Update: Currently, circle to search no longer opens by default so we're finding a fix. The previous implementation worked but it caused issues with apps using Google login activity so we had to revert back the changes.

Adding to this, Circle to search works even while the pill is hidden

Both Gemini and Circle to search will be available by the next update. You will be required to update the Google app to the latest version via Play store, and then access Google Assistant. It will ask you to download some additional data and after that, Gemini will be available to use.

Initial February 2024 security patches (android-14.0.0_r22 tag; UQ1A.240205.002 build ID) have been merged into our source. But we're also waiting for Pixel 8 Pro tag (UQ1A.240205.004) to merge that for later.
