"A portion of knowledge that a person memorises for his own betterment and for the welfare of others, is better than offering (voluntary) ibādah for a year."
Of course, you are scared. But that thing you've been on the fence about? Do it anyway
So often we get caught up in our fears and anxieties, the what ifs and the maybes, that we don’t take the opportunities that are right in front of us. Be it having a hard conversation, quitting your job, taking on a new one or moving to a new place...just do it.
Being afraid is okay, but do it anyway.
“The body without Qur’an is a tomb”
When you have no Qur’an, your soul dies. Your body becomes a walking talking tomb for your dead soul.
So what’s your relationship with the Qur’an?

"Comparison is the thief of joy"
[Theodore Roosevelt]
Reality is, each of us has been bestowed with blessings from Allāh.
Our blessings maybe different.
But that's because we, as individuals, are different.
Our blessings are different, but we're all blessed.
Don't compare.
Live your own life.
Be happy .
This week is mental health awareness week
It is important to take care of your mental health and look out for the mental wellbeing of others.
If you are worried or feel down, seek help and remember, people with mental illness do get better with the right help and support.
“رب معصية أورثت ذلا وانكسارا خير من طاعة أورثت عزا واستكبارا”
Perhaps a disobedience that results in humiliation and brokenness is better than an obedience that results in pride and arrogance.
Leave Ramadan determined.
Determined to do better, to leave off sin, to seek Allāh’s Pleasure, to have high aspirations, to take committed action - to become a different person by the time (bi’ithnillah) the next Ramadan comes around.
Words From Shaykh-ul-Ḥādith Mawlānā Salīm Dhorat
- People who are older and widowed should marry again, because they need companionship.
- It is good for the children to encourage their parent to get re-married. There are certain things that a husband/wife can only discuss with their spouse, and not their children.
- When someone gets re-married, it does not mean that they have forgotten their first spouse. Rather, the first spouse who has passed away is happy that their spouse has re-married, and isn't spending their life in sadness over their passing.

CALLING ALL SINNERS.
Note:
A Copula is a pronoun that comes between a predicate and subject in English Grammar.
In Arabic Grammar it is the same as well as emphasising the subject. As if you’re writing the pronoun in capitals when writing and putting emphasis on it when speaking.

Every soul will taste death.
The elderly, the young, the rich, the poor, the humble and the arrogant. If this is everyone’s end, then glad tidings to the ones who have found Allāh ﷻ and spent their lives striving to perfect their worship to Allāh ﷻ, to call to the truth and to benefit mankind.

Believe in Allāh ﷻ and remain steadfast
Abu ‘Amr - and he is also known as: Abu ‘Amrah Sufyaan ibn Abdullah who said:
قُلْت: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ!
I said: O Messenger of Allah!
tell me something about Islam that I cannot ask anyones other than you.

He ﷺ said:
« قُلْ: آمَنْت بِاَللَّهِ، ثُمَّ اسْتَقِمْ »
“Say: I believe in Allah, and then remain steadfast upon that.”
