Self flow or Self Compacted comcrete 🏗SCC (Self Compacted Concrete) called Self-Consolidating Concrete). ✅It is a highly flowable concrete that can: 👉flow under its own weight, 👉fill formwork completely. 👉pass through congested reinforcement, 👉and compact itself without vibration. Main Idea ✅Normal concrete usually needs vibration using poker vibrators to remove air voids. ✅SCC does not need this vibration because it spreads and compacts automatically. Main Characteristics of SCC 1. Filling Ability Concrete can flow and fill all spaces in the formwork. 2. Passing Ability Concrete can pass between closely spaced reinforcement bars without blocking. 3. Segregation Resistance Aggregate and mortar remain uniform and do not separate during flow.
