1) रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (DRDO) ने मल्टीपल इंडिपेंडेंटली टारगेटेबल रीएंट्री व्हीकल (MIRV) तकनीक के साथ स्वदेशी रूप से विकसित अग्नि -5 मिसाइल का पहला सफल उड़ान परीक्षण किया।
➨ मिशन दिव्यास्त्र नाम का यह उड़ान परीक्षण ओडिशा के डॉ. एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम द्वीप से किया गया।

➨ लैंगिक असमानता सूचकांक (जीआईआई) 2022 में, भारत 0.437 स्कोर के साथ 193 देशों में से 108वें स्थान पर है। GII-2021 में 0.490 स्कोर के साथ 191 देशों में इसकी रैंक 122 थी।
3) सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर ने नई दिल्ली में एक समारोह में विशाल पांडे द्वारा लिखित इज़राइल वॉर डायरी नामक पुस्तक का विमोचन किया।

6) केंद्रीय ऊर्जा और नवीन एवं नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा मंत्री ने नई दिल्ली के श्रम शक्ति भवन में वर्ष 2022-23 के लिए डिस्कॉम रेटिंग का 12वां संस्करण लॉन्च किया है।
➨ शीर्ष पांच स्थानों में महाराष्ट्र की अदानी इलेक्ट्रिसिटी मुंबई लिमिटेड (एईएमएल) पहले स्थान पर, गुजरात की टोरेंट पावर सूरत दूसरे स्थान पर, गुजरात की टोरेंट पावर अहमदाबाद तीसरे स्थान पर है।
7) इंडसइंड बैंक ने अपने संपर्क रहित भुगतान वियरेबल्स, 'इंडस पेवियर' के लॉन्च की घोषणा की, जो विशेष रूप से मास्टरकार्ड पर डेबिट और क्रेडिट कार्ड दोनों के लिए भारत का पहला ऑल-इन-वन टोकनिज़ेबल वियरेबल्स है।
8) चीन, ईरान और रूस की नौसेनाओं ने किसी तीसरे देश या मौजूदा क्षेत्रीय तनाव को निशाना बनाए बिना, क्षेत्रीय समुद्री सुरक्षा की रक्षा के लिए ओमान की खाड़ी के पास एक अभ्यास शुरू किया।
➨चीनी युद्धपोतों के ईरान के चाबहार के पास पानी में आने के बाद सुरक्षा बेल्ट-2024 संयुक्त अभ्यास स्थानीय समय पर शुरू हुआ।
➨यह 2019 के बाद से तीन देशों द्वारा चौथा संयुक्त नौसैनिक अभ्यास है।
9) प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सुजुकी मोटर गुजरात (एसएमजी) प्लांट में भारत की पहली ऑटोमोबाइल इन-प्लांट रेलवे साइडिंग का उद्घाटन किया।
➨ नए इन-प्लांट रेलवे साइडिंग का उद्देश्य कार्बन फुटप्रिंट को कम करके वाहन परिवहन को अधिक पर्यावरण-अनुकूल बनाना है।
10) स्वीडिश थिंक टैंक, स्टॉकहोम इंटरनेशनल पीस रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट (SIPRI) के अनुसार, 2014-18 की अवधि की तुलना में आयात में 4.7% की वृद्धि के साथ 2019-23 की अवधि के लिए भारत दुनिया का शीर्ष हथियार आयातक था।
11) केंद्र ने 1 अप्रैल, 2024 से 31 जुलाई, 2024 तक चार महीने की अवधि के लिए ₹500 करोड़ के सब्सिडी परिव्यय के साथ इलेक्ट्रिक मोबिलिटी प्रमोशन स्कीम 2024 की घोषणा की।
