Immersive Stalker adds 19 actions to Anomaly 1.5.3 via a radial menu. Rest by the fire, play guitar or harmonica, and tell jokes and stories that nearby NPCs react to. Your character has faction-based voice lines and on-screen thoughts about life in the Zone. Press F8 to open the menu. Requires Modded Exes. In the base game, shooting from foliage has always been a tricky issue where the enemy either has xray vision or treats the bushes like a brick wall. If you miss, or shoot near enemies, they mostly carry on as if nothing happened. If you hit one, it knows exactly where you are and tracks you through the bush. There’s no middle ground: they either ignore your shots or have perfect knowledge of your position. Recon by Fire adds that middle ground. Enemies react to where a shot came from, not to where you actually are. Nearby enemies lay down suppressive fire on that spot, and distant ones move in or flank to investigate. Cover still protects you, but shooting from it is no longer free.
