Tilaknagar Industries:Societe Generale bought a 0.94% stake in Tilaknagar at an average price of Rs 338.65 per share, from BofA Securities Europe SA, valued at Rs 61.52 crore.

Zomato:Adonmo has raised additional capital from select new investors on September 25, and Zomato did not participate in this fundraising. As a result of the fundraise, Zomato's shareholding in Adonmo has decreased to 17%, down from 19% at the time of its investment in January 2022.
Tilaknagar Industries:Societe Generale bought a 0.2% stake in Tilaknagar at an average price of Rs 287.8 per share from BOFA Securities Europe SA. As of September 2024, Societe Generale held a 1.83% stake, while BOFA Securities owned a 1.38% stake in the company.

Bank of Maharashtra:The lender has increased its marginal cost of funds-based lending rate for tenure of more than six months by 5 basis points from 9% to 9.05%, effective October 19.
Dodla Dairy:The dairy company has completed the acquisition of a 35.23-acre land parcel in Dharashiv, Maharashtra, for setting up a plant.
CG Power and Industrial Solutions:The Board will meet on October 21 to consider fundraising via the issuance of equity shares, debentures, warrants, preference shares, or any other equity-linked securities.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals:The pharma company has received final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for Diltiazem Hydrochloride extended-release capsules USP in 120 mg, 180 mg, and 240 mg. These capsules are used for the treatment of hypertension.
Godrej Properties:The company has acquired 3 acres of land in Ahmedabad, which has a development potential of 0.9 million square feet of saleable area. This area comprises premium residential apartments with an estimated booking value of Rs 1,300 crore.
Wipro:The company has incorporated its step-down subsidiary, Wipro Life Science Solutions, LLC, in the US, effective October 10, to explore new business opportunities in the life sciences segment.
Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers:The company has received letters of intent for a contract worth Rs 491 crore from the Ministry of Defence. Dr Reddy’s Laboratories:The company’s subsidiary, Aurigene Oncology, has announced the Phase 1 results for Ribrecabtagene autoleucel (DRL-1801) from the SWASTH study. The Drugs Controller General of India has approved the commencement of the Phase 2 part of the trial.
Nuvama Wealth Management:SEBI has issued an administrative warning following an inspection of the company's merchant banking activities. Nuvama Wealth stated that there is no material impact on the financials, operations, or other activities of the company.
Indian Railway Finance Corporation:The Board has approved financing up to Rs 700 crore under the finance lease for 20 BOBR rakes procured under the General-Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme (GPWIS) of the Ministry of Railways for NTPC. The Board also appointed Ajoy Choudhury as Chief Risk Officer for a fixed tenure of two years.
Namo eWaste Management:The company has acquired 2 acres of land in the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster in Ranga Reddy district, Telangana, from the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, for Rs 3 crore. The land will be utilized for setting up an e-waste recycling plant in Telangana.
Timken India:The company has received an order from the Income Tax Department demanding Rs 25 crore for the Assessment Year 2021-22. Since income was calculated (by the Income Tax department) on the higher side by Rs 100.3 crore, the company may have to pay additional tax of around Rs 25 crore plus interest, as stated by the department.
Schneider Electric Infrastructure:The Office of the Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Bengaluru (Appellate Authority), has rejected the appeal petition filed by the company for the financial year 2017-18 and upheld the earlier impugned adjudication order.
SKF India:The board has given its in-principle approval to segregate its automotive and industrial businesses through a scheme of arrangement. The company also approved the immediate incorporation of a wholly-owned subsidiary for the proposed demerger.

Torrent Pharmaceuticals:The company has denied claims that its product, Shelcal 500, allegedly failed a CDSCO (Central Drugs Standard Control Organization) quality test. Torrent stated that the sample seized by the CDSCO was not manufactured by the company and is, in fact, non-genuine and spurious.
Life Insurance Corporation of India:S Sunder Krishnan has resigned as the Chief Risk Officer of the company, effective September 25.

KEC International:The RPG Group company launched its Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) issue on September 24. The floor price has been fixed at Rs 976.64 per share.
Multi Commodity Exchange of India:The commodity exchange has revised transaction fees for Futures and Options contracts effective October 1, with fees of Rs 2.1 per lakh of turnover value for Futures contracts, and Rs 41.8 per lakh of premium turnover value for Options contracts.
PC Jeweller:The board will meet on September 30 to consider an alteration in the share capital of the company by sub-dividing or splitting the existing equity shares having a face value of Rs 10 each. In the same meeting, the board will also consider the appointment of new directors, if any.

Delta Corp:The board has approved the demerger of the company’s hospitality and real estate business via a Composite Scheme of Arrangement. Delta Penland, a subsidiary of Delta Corp, is a newly incorporated company that will carry on the hospitality and real estate business. As per the share entitlement ratio, Delta Penland will allot one new equity share for every one equity share held by eligible shareholders in Delta Corp.
Gillette India:Distributor Procter & Gamble Bangladesh has terminated the Distribution Agreement with Gillette India, effective December 31, 2024. Due to this termination, the company will see a proportionate drop in net sales under this agreement. For FY24, net sales under the said Distributor Agreement accounted for 2% of the company’s total net sales. There is no material impact on the company’s profits due to this termination.
HDFC Life Insurance Company:The board will meet on September 27 to approve the commercial terms for the proposed issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs). In July, the board had approved raising funds through the issuance of NCDs up to Rs 2,000 crore in one or more tranches, on a private placement basis.

Coal India will hold a 74% stake in the joint venture, with the remaining 26% held by RRVUNL.
Reliance Industries, ONGC, Vedanta, Oil India:India’s biggest oil and gas bid round attracted four bidders, including state-owned ONGC and Oil India, and Vedanta, with most blocks receiving just two bids. In the OALP-IX bid round, where 28 blocks were offered for oil and gas exploration, Reliance Industries Ltd-bp plc, for the first time, bid alongside ONGC for one block in the Gujarat offshore. ONGC bid for 14 blocks independently and for four additional blocks in partnership with Oil India and Indian Oil Corporation. Vedanta submitted bids for all 28 blocks on offer.
Pondy Oxides and Chemicals:The company plans to raise up to Rs 250 crore via Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) in one or more tranches.
