Cipla:The Mumbai-based drug manufacturer has informed the exchanges that its manufacturing facility in Bengaluru's Virgonagar has received a Voluntary Action Indicated status from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA.)
Oil India:The company reported 44 percent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,457 crore for the third quarter of financial year 2024-25, compared to Rs 2,607 crore last year.

Bharat Electronics:Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics on February 8 said it has received orders worth Rs 962 crore, including a Rs 610 crore contract to supply an Electro-Optic Fire Control System (EOFCS) to the Indian Navy. .
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals :The drug firm Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd on February 7 said it has received an order from the Joint Commissioner of Central Goods and Services Tax and Central Excise (CGST & CX) Palghar, Maharashtra, seeking Rs 121.25 crore in tax, interest, and penalties from 2017-18 to 2021-22.
Vedanta:The mining conglomerate on February 8 said it has received two orders, dated February 6, from the Office of the Commissioner, Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) & Central Excise, Rourkela Commissionerate, seeking penalties totalling Rs 141.36 crore, along with tax demand and applicable interest.
Brainbees Solutions:The parent company of FirstCry, reduced its losses by 69.2 percent in the third quarter of FY25. The company’s net loss dropped from Rs 48.4 crore to Rs 14.7 crore.
Wockhardt:The company reported a net profit of Rs 14 crore for the December quarter, a significant comeback from the Rs 83 crore loss which the pharma major reported for the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
VA Tech Wabag:The water treatment player reported an 11.6 percenr year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 70.2 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024. Consolidated revenue from operations grew 15.1 percent to Rs 811 crore against Rs 704.4 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services:The company reported a 69 percent year-on-year surge in revenue, reaching Rs 336.4 crore in Q3FY25. Net profit grew to Rs 20.2 crore during the quarter, marking a 33 percent year-on-year increase.
VST Industries:Net sales rose 1.26 percent to Rs 367.15 crore in December 2024 from Rs 362.58 crore a year ago, while quarterly net profit surged 153.65 percent to Rs 136.26 crore from Rs 53.72 crore in the same period.
NHPC:The state-owned hydropower giant reported a 47 percent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 330.13 crore in the December quarter, primarily due to higher expenses.
PSP Projects:The company reported a 10.58 percent decline in net sales to Rs 630.21 crore in December 2024 from Rs 704.75 crore a year ago, while quarterly net profit plunged 83.74 percent to Rs 5.05 crore from Rs 31.08 crore in the same period.

JSW Steel:Jsquare Electrical Steel Nashik, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW JFE Electrical Steel, has completed the acquisition of 100% equity interest in thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel India for Rs 4,158.6 crore. The associated technology package from the thyssenkrupp group has been licensed/transferred to the company. JSW JFE Electrical Steel is a 50:50 joint venture between JSW Steel and JFE Steel Corporation.
Western Carriers India:The logistics company has received an order worth Rs 170 crore from Hindustan Zinc for the movement of finished goods, zinc, and lead ingots from its smelting complexes at Chanderiya Lead Zinc Smelter, Zinc Smelter Debari, Dariba Smelting Complex (Rajasthan), and Pantnagar Metal Plant (Uttarakhand) to Mundra, Pipavav, and Mumbai ports and HZL’s depots and customer sites across India.
Ircon International:The company’s joint venture has received an EPC contract worth Rs 631.2 crore from the Public Works Department, Manipur. The order involves the construction of rigid pavement and lined drains on selected roads under the Imphal East Division (ED – 2) – Package 3. Ircon’s share in the contract is 26%, and AMRIL’s share is 74%.
Ansal Properties:Prashant Kumar has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of the company, effective January 30.
Jupiter Wagons:Atyant Capital India Fund 1_FDI sold a 0.94% stake in the company at an average price of Rs 365.6 per share, valued at Rs 146.24 crore.

Mahanagar Gas:GAIL (India), the nodal agency for domestic gas allocation, has informed Mahanagar Gas that the domestic gas allocation at APM prices has been increased by 26%, effective January 16. Adani Wilmar:Adani Commodities LLP, one of the promoters, is set to sell up to 20% of its equity stake in Adani Wilmar via an offer-for-sale (OFS) on January 10 and January 13. The OFS will include a base issue size of 13.50% equity and a green-shoe option of 6.50% equity.
Polyplex Corporation:The Board has approved the setting up of a BOPET manufacturing film plant in India with an investment of Rs 558 crore. The proposed capacity addition is 52,400 MTPA for BOPET film, while the existing capacity is 90,000 MTPA (for both BOPET and BOPP films).
SRF:The company issued a clarification regarding a media report that SRF and Navin Fluorine shares surged by 13% each on Thursday. SRF clarified that the reported price hike by a US refrigerant gas distributor pertains to the US market.
Equitas Small Finance Bank:The bank has increased interest rates for savings account customers, effective January 10. Balances up to Rs 1 lakh will continue to earn an interest rate of 3%, while balances between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 10 lakh will earn 5%. Balances above Rs 10 lakh and up to Rs 25 lakh will earn 7%.
Samvardhana Motherson International:The development of the Gen 3 prototype, as per the agreed specifications and associated conditions, is still a work in progress and is expected to take some more time. The development requires additional funding to complete the related work and processes.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders:The company has delivered the sixth Scorpene-class submarine, Vaghsheer, of Project P-75 to the Indian Navy. Vaghsheer can undertake various missions, including anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, intelligence gathering, and area surveillance.
Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation:The company has entered into a sale deed for a land parcel of 13.91 acres in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, for Rs 13.05 crore. SAV Readymix Concrete, Muthukumar Enterprises, Sri Athisaya Vinayagar Blue Metals, and PMK Builders are the buyers of the land parcel.
NTPC Green Energy:The company's subsidiary, NTPC Renewable Energy, has commissioned the second part of its capacity of 60 MW out of the 320 MW Bhainsara Solar PV project, and 50 MW out of the 220 MW Shajapur Solar project (Unit-II).

Fortis Healthcare:The company has acquired 59.7 lakh equity shares (representing 7.6% equity) in its subsidiary Agilus Diagnostics from the International Finance Corporation at a price of Rs 719.2 per share, for Rs 429.37 crore.
Laurus Labs:Investors Eight Roads Ventures and F-Prime Capital have together invested Rs 120 crore in Laurus Bio, a subsidiary company of Laurus Labs. The company completed the said transaction on December 20.
UltraTech Cement:The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of India Cements by UltraTech Cement. UltraTech will acquire 10.13 crore equity shares (32.72% equity stake) held by the promoters and the other shareholder in India Cements and will make an open offer for up to 8.05 crore equity shares (26% equity) in India Cements at a price of Rs 390 per share from the public shareholders.
TeamLease Services:The company has announced the execution of a definitive agreement with TSR Darashaw HR Services. The company also announced the availing of board approval to acquire a stake in Crystal HR and Security Solutions (Crystal HR).
Tata Consultancy Services:The company's subsidiary Tata Consultancy Services (Africa) (Proprietary) (TCS Africa) has entered into an agreement with Isisekelo Sethu Trust to sell and dispose of its 30% shares in TCS SA to comply with the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) guidelines in South Africa.
Reliance Industries:The company's subsidiary Reliance Digital Health has entered into definitive agreements to acquire a 45% equity stake in Health Alliance Group Inc. for $10 million. HAGI is a US-based healthcare company specializing in designing technology-driven solutions for the underserved in the United States, India, and the rest of the world.
Renaissance Global:The Board has approved the appointment of Darshil Shah as the Managing Director of the company in place of Hitesh Shah for five years, effective January 1, 2025. Currently, Darshil Shah is the Executive Director. The Board also changed the designation of Hitesh Shah from Managing Director to Non-Executive Director of the company.
