| 20 |  🐂📊 Comunidad Toro Trading: ¿por qué el informe de empleo de Estados Unidos mueve tanto el mercado?
Si estás empezando en Forex, seguramente has escuchado: “¡Cuidado, hoy hay NFP!”. Vamos a entender qué significa 👇
🌡 Piensa en este informe como un termómetro de la economía.
Muestra si están aumentando los empleos, cómo evoluciona el desempleo y qué sucede con los salarios. Lo publica el BLS, la Oficina de Estadísticas Laborales de Estados Unidos.
🔎 Hay tres datos principales:
👷 1. Empleos — NFP
Indica cuántos puestos de trabajo aumentaron o disminuyeron respecto al mes anterior, sin incluir el sector agrícola.
➕ Un resultado positivo significa que el total de puestos creció.
➖ Un resultado negativo significa que disminuyó.
🙋 2. Tasa de desempleo
De cada 100 personas que trabajan o buscan empleo, indica cuántas están sin trabajo y buscando uno.
Una subida puede señalar debilidad, pero también puede ocurrir porque más personas comienzan a buscar empleo. Por eso hay que mirar el conjunto.
💵 3. Salarios
Muestra cómo cambia el pago promedio por hora. Si aumenta con fuerza, puede impulsar el consumo y generar preocupación por la inflación.
📅 ¿Cuándo se publica?
Normalmente, el primer viernes de cada mes, con datos del mes anterior. Puede haber excepciones: revisa el calendario económico.
⏰ Nueva York: 8:30 a. m.
🇨🇴 Colombia: 7:30 a. m. cuando Nueva York está en horario de verano y 8:30 a. m. durante su horario estándar.
🏦 ¿Por qué importa para operar?
Porque influye en lo que el mercado espera de las tasas de interés de la Reserva Federal —Fed—, el banco central estadounidense.
💪 Empleo MÁS FUERTE de lo esperado:
El mercado puede pensar: “La economía sigue fuerte; las tasas podrían permanecer altas por más tiempo”.
💵 Esto puede favorecer al dólar.
💻 Puede presionar al Nasdaq, porque las tasas altas encarecen la financiación y afectan las valoraciones de las empresas.
📉 Empleo MÁS DÉBIL de lo esperado:
El mercado puede pensar: “La economía se enfría; podrían bajar las tasas”.
💵 Esto puede debilitar al dólar.
💻 Puede favorecer al Nasdaq.
🚨 Pero no es una regla: si aparece miedo a una recesión, el Nasdaq también puede caer.
🧩 Ejemplo fácil —cifras hipotéticas—:
Se esperaban 150.000 empleos nuevos y salen 100.000.
✅ Se crearon empleos.
❗️ Pero fueron menos de los esperados.
El número es positivo, pero la sorpresa es negativa. Esa diferencia puede mover el precio.
🌍 ¿Qué mercados suele mover?
💱 Dólar y pares como EUR/USD, GBP/USD y USD/JPY.
🥇 Oro.
📈 Nasdaq, S&P 500 y Dow Jones.
🏦 Bonos del Tesoro de Estados Unidos.
🧠 Mira el resultado frente a lo esperado, los salarios, el desempleo y las correcciones de meses anteriores.
