You describe the strategy, the AI builds it, and it runs on-chain.
How to build your first one:
1. Open the AI builder and describe your strategy in everyday language (it doesn't have to be English), for example: "Go long when my alert fires, take profit at my target, stop the loss at my level."
2. The AI turns it into rules: the signal, long or short, the leverage you choose, the take-profit and the stop-loss. If something is missing, it asks.
3. Your signal can be a price level, or an alert from TradingView or any tool that can send a webhook.
4. When the signal fires, it opens the position on a decentralized exchange on Arbitrum, with USDC as collateral. At your take-profit or stop-loss it closes and goes back to Hold, ready for the next signal.

| 4 |  Long/short, part 5 of 5: your funds stay on-chain.
When a CrowdStrategy goes long or short, nothing leaves the chain. The funds stay on Arbitrum, a chain CrowdStrategy already runs on. The position is an on-chain trade on a decentralized exchange, sent from the strategy's own contract. When it closes, the funds come back to that contract and the strategy returns to Hold.
No exchange account to open, no API keys to hand over, and every trade can be checked on-chain.

| 5 |  Long/short, part 4 of 5: the stop-loss comes first.
A stop-loss closes the position at the level you chose, before a bad move can turn into a liquidation. That's how a bad trade stays a small one.
When you describe a long/short strategy to the AI builder, the exit is part of the description: where you take profit, and where you stop the loss. If you leave the stop-loss out, the builder warns you.
When the position opens, the stop-loss and take-profit are placed on the decentralized exchange together with it, so they trigger even if no one is watching the chart. When either one closes the position, the strategy goes back to Hold by itself and waits for the next signal.
While a position is open, new deposits wait, and investors can still withdraw their whole share.

| 6 |  Long/short, part 3 of 5: you describe it, the AI builds it.
Opening a long or a short is nothing new. What CrowdStrategy changes is how the strategy gets made: you don't write code, you describe it.
1. Write your strategy in plain English, the way you'd explain it to a friend.
2. The AI builder turns it into rules: which signal opens the position, long or short, the take-profit and the stop-loss. If something is missing, it asks you.
3. Your strategy waits in Hold until the signal fires: a price level, or an alert from TradingView or any other tool that can send a webhook.
4. It opens the long or short on a decentralized exchange on Arbitrum, as an on-chain transaction from the strategy's own contract.
5. When the take-profit or stop-loss hits, it closes, goes back to Hold and waits for the next signal.

| 7 |  Long/short, part 2 of 5: what a perp is.
A perpetual future (a "perp") lets you go long, gaining if the price rises, or short, gaining if it falls, with the leverage you choose. It has no expiry date, so the position stays open until it is closed. Both directions lose when the price moves the other way, and leverage makes that faster.
