#BiharCurrentAffairs Bihar’s Two-Child Policy Under section 18 of the Bihar Municipal Act, 2007, it has been provisioned that a person having more than two living children would be debarred from contesting polls for urban local bodies. Under the rules which came into effect from April 4, 2008, and implemented in urban polls in 2012 and 2017, candidates filing nominations for various posts have to declare that they have only two living children. बिहार दो बच्चों की नीति बिहार नगरपालिका अधिनियम, 2007 की धारा 18 के तहत, यह प्रावधान किया गया है कि दो से अधिक जीवित बच्चों वाले व्यक्ति को शहरी स्थानीय निकायों के चुनाव लड़ने से वंचित किया जाएगा। 4 अप्रैल, 2008 से लागू और 2012 और 2017 में शहरी चुनावों में लागू हुए नियमों के तहत, विभिन्न पदों के लिए नामांकन दाखिल करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को यह घोषित करना होगा कि उनके केवल दो जीवित बच्चे हैं।

#BiharCurrentAffairs Hiuen Tsang museum at Nalanda The Nav Nalanda Mahavihar vice chancellor Professor Baidyanath Labh on Friday laid the foundation stones for the Hiuen Tsang museum to mark the Chinese monk’s contributions to Buddhist studies and his visit and stay at the ancient Nalanda University in Bihar. The museum along with the memorial was originally planned in the 1950s. Chinese monk and traveller Hiuen Tsang arrived as a student and later joined the University as a teacher in 7the Century AD. The forthcoming museum at Nalanda will showcase Hiuen Tsang’s relic, which is a skull bone, preserved in a crystal casket. At present, this relic casket is at the Patna Museum. नालंदा में ह्वेनसांग संग्रहालय नव नालंदा महाविहार के कुलपति प्रोफेसर बैद्यनाथ लाभ ने शुक्रवार को बौद्ध अध्ययन में चीनी भिक्षु के योगदान और बिहार के प्राचीन नालंदा विश्वविद्यालय में उनकी यात्रा और प्रवास को चिह्नित करने के लिए ह्वेन त्सांग संग्रहालय की आधारशिला रखी। स्मारक के साथ संग्रहालय की योजना मूल रूप से 1950 के दशक में बनाई गई थी। चीनी भिक्षु और यात्री ह्वेनसांग एक छात्र के रूप में (7 वीं शताब्दी ईस्वी) पहुंचे और बाद में एक शिक्षक के रूप में विश्वविद्यालय में शामिल हुए। नालंदा का आगामी संग्रहालय ह्वेनसांग के अवशेष को प्रदर्शित करेगा, जो एक खोपड़ी की हड्डी है, जिसे एक क्रिस्टल ताबूत में संरक्षित किया गया है। फिलहाल यह अवशेष ताबूत पटना संग्रहालय में है।

#BiharCurrentAffairs The Bihar government has decided to set up factories to make glass bangles out of seized liquor bottles through its Rural Livelihoods Promotion Programme, JEEVIKA. The Department of Prohibition and Excise has allocated 21 crore to set up a glass-making factory in Patna. Funded by the World Bank, JEEVIKA is a rural social and economic empowerment programme that comes under the Rural Development Department. बिहार सरकार ने अपने ग्रामीण आजीविका संवर्धन कार्यक्रम, जीविका के माध्यम से जब्त शराब की बोतलों से कांच की चूड़ियाँ बनाने के लिए कारखाने स्थापित करने का निर्णय लिया है। मद्यनिषेध और उत्पाद विभाग ने पटना में शीशा बनाने की फैक्ट्री लगाने के लिए 21 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किये हैं. विश्व बैंक द्वारा वित्त पोषित, जीविका एक ग्रामीण सामाजिक और आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण कार्यक्रम है जो ग्रामीण विकास विभाग के अंतर्गत आता है।
