Queries Regarding Re-Registration:
1.What is re registration?
Re-Registration means to enroll in next year or next semester in your current programme.
2.Who is eligible for re-registration?
All sem based students need to re-registration every 6 months( bca mca mba etc)
All year based(BAG, BSCG, MHD etc) programme students have to re-register every year.
3.I did not complete my current session, Can I re-register for my next semester/year?
Yess, if you have not completed your current session codes even if you have backlogs in your all codes still you have to re register for next year/session.
4.What if i missed re-registration ?
You will miss your next semester/year, But you can appear for the TEE exam for previously registered papers, if anything is leftover. And also by missing the last date you are wasting 6 months from the maximum permissible period to complete the course.
5. I'm not receiving the OTP while re-registering what to do ?
If you are facing an issue with receiving the OTP during your re-registration, please send an email to your Regional Center and send the email on this address registrarsrd@ignou.ac.in
6. My fee has been deducted, but re-registration is not completed what to do ?
If you have paid the re-registration fee and your application is showing as incomplete, please wait for 48 hours. If the issue persists, send an email to your regional center and send the email on this address registrarsrd@ignou.ac.in
7.Will the Re-registration Date be Extended?
Yes, it will surely extend upto 30th July 2025.

IGNOU Examination Tips
Follow these Tips To Score Better or to get passed In the IGNOU Exams.
1. Writing Matters a lot, the same answer will get Different marks in good or bad writing, keep your writing readable.
2. Use a proper pen which suits your hand.
3. Practice previous questions to help you prepare for the exam. Ignou has been repeating some questions for the past years.

4. Most of the previous(exams) qsn's answers you will get in ignou books itself, if you don't have a hard copy of books then download pdf books from the ignou website.
5. During the exam, focus on the questions you know perfectly. Write them down first, then come back to the other questions.
6. Try to Draw The Diagrams for a better explanation.
7. Write your answers in Points and Headings.
8. IGNOU doesn't provide an extra Sheet, you will get one having 13 pages means 26 pages including both sides so write accordingly.
9. IGNOU Allows Calculator In Some Exams So don't Forget That.
10. Try to attempt all qsns.

Credit Transfer:(Re-Admission) What Happens If You Don't Finish Your IGNOU Course by the admission validity?

Agar aap apna course admission validity tak complete nahi kar paate hain, to uske baad course ko complete krne liye credit transfer scheme ka use hota hai. Iska matlab hai ki aapko phir se wahi program(course) mein dobara admission lena hoga, aur aap jitne subjects mein pass the, unke credits transfer krne honge, jiska ek subject ka cost lagbhag 1000-1500 rupees hota hai. Maan lijiye aapke total 30 subjects the aur aap 28 mein pass the, agar ek course ka cost 1000 rupees hua to 28000 rupees aapke credit transfer mein lag jaayenge. Fir aapko wo exams dena honge jinke wajah se degree incomplete tha . Is tarah se credit transfer kaam karta hai.

If you are unable to complete your course by the admission validity, then the credit transfer scheme is used thereafter. This means that you will have to re-enroll in the same program, and the credits for the subjects you passed will be transferred, each subject costing approximately 1000-1500 rupees. For instance, if you had a total of 30 subjects and passed 28, and the cost per course was 1000 rupees, then 28000 rupees would be deducted for your credit transfer. Then you will have to retake the required exams. This is how the credit transfer works, it's for those who can't complete their course by the admission validity.
