Phase 1 - Lift Off 🚀 We’re now happy to announce that we’re launching Phase 1 of the token application and staking system, available at: https://token.get-protocol.io/. This will be the homepage going forwards so always check the address is correct before interacting with it. Here you can view token stats as well as deposit and withdraw to and from the staking contracts. A quick reminder on phases: • Phase 1 will be a two week trial period to get the hang of the deposit and withdrawal mechanisms and during this period the instant withdrawal fee will be set to 0%. No rewards will be distributed in this phase. • Starting Monday 20th February the instant withdrawal fee will be set to 15% and reward distribution will be enabled. Any GET remaining on the contract will then be subject to withdrawal conditions. Therefore ensure you withdraw before 20th February if you do not wish your GET to be staked at this time and this can be done using the ‘Immediately execute this withdrawal’ toggle shown in the attached screenshot. We Need You 🫵 The contracts are audited and the front-end application has been well tested, but given there are so many browsers and wallets out there in the world we can’t guarantee all of them work so make sure you let us know about your experiences in using the application. And we’re always looking to improve any language or confusing areas as well, so if you find any text/wording that you find doesn’t make sense then also report back any thoughts. Watershed Moments 🌊 To take a phrase from the book of Colby, this is a watershed moment for the protocol and one we’ve been excited to launch for months, if not from its existence. The GET token plays a large role in the success of the protocol, acting as the on-chain fuel for all of our NFT tickets and in launching staking we’re glad to have you join in the success of the protocol. For the first time ever, token holders can be rewarded when a ticket is used on the protocol, anywhere in the world.
