2024 UNESCO Kulturweit Tandem Exchange (German international cultural voluntary) Program for Young Africans (Fully Funded)

From 12.02. Until March 10, 2024 (12 p.m. CET), women* from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia as well as young people from Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya, Madagascar, Namibia and Togo can apply online for kulturweit incoming. The stay in Germany will take place from the end of August to November 2024.
The international cultural voluntary service as part of the German UNESCO commission offers young people from Germany aged 18 through 26 the opportunity to get involved in the foreign culture and education policy for the duration of six or twelve months. During the course, all volunteers are financially supported and accompanied by seminars - this way kulturweit is open to all young people!
Requirements
the participants must be at least 18 years and not older than 26 years during the entire time of the voluntary service, i.e. they are not allowed to turn 27 during their assignment period
the primary place of residence must be Germany (i.e. volunteers should have spent the majority of the past two to three years in Germany, however, German citizenship is not a prerequisite)
German native or excellent knowledge of the German language (proficiency level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

About the webinar
The objectives of this presentation are:
to present a teaching and learning framework that delivers the basis for the effective attainment and mediation of intercultural communication skills in the modern language classroom;

About the speaker
Yoseph Feleke Sahle is a versatile educator with nearly two decades of experience currently pursuing a PhD in English Language Teaching at Addis Ababa University (AAU) and an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at AAU's College of Commerce. As a dedicated instructor at a prestigious governmental university and President of the Ethiopian English Language Professionals' Association (EELPA), Yoseph is known for his dynamic teaching methods and technology integration.
