📢 UPESSC TGT Recruitment 2026 – Complete Subject-Wise Eligibility and Post Codes 📚 ✅ 1. General Eligibility Criteria 🔹 Graduation: A minimum of 50% marks in Graduation in the relevant subject, or a minimum of 45% marks in Post-Graduation (PG), as applicable. 🔹 B.Ed.: A B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution. For Physical Education, the prescribed B.P.Ed./B.P.E. qualification applies. 🔹 TET (CTET/UPTET): Qualifying the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) at the Upper Primary Level (Classes 6–8) is required, subject to the official recruitment rules. 📌 Important Update – TET Deadline: Candidates are reportedly being given an opportunity to qualify CTET or UPTET by 30 June 2027. 📚 2. Subject-Wise Eligibility and Post Codes Post Code 1 – Hindi - Graduation with Hindi as a subject and 50% marks, or Post-Graduation with 45% marks, as applicable. - Sanskrit in Intermediate (Class 12) or the prescribed equivalent examination is required. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 2 – English - Graduation or Post-Graduation with English Literature. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 3 – Mathematics - Graduation or Post-Graduation with Mathematics. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 4 – Commerce - Graduation or Post-Graduation in Commerce. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 5 – Music (Vocal) - Graduation/Post-Graduation in Music, or the prescribed Sangeet Visharad/Sangeet Prabhakar qualification from a recognized institution along with a general Graduation/Post-Graduation degree. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 6 – Sanskrit - Graduation or Post-Graduation with Sanskrit. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 7 – Urdu - Graduation or Post-Graduation with Urdu. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 8 – Home Science - Graduation or Post-Graduation with Home Science. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 9 – Physical Education - Graduation or Post-Graduation in any subject. - The prescribed B.P.Ed. or B.P.E. qualification and TET. Post Code 10 – Social Science - Graduation with any two of the following subjects: History, Geography, Political Science and Economics; OR Post-Graduation in any one of these subjects. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 11 – Drawing/Art - Graduation or Post-Graduation in Art or Fine Arts. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 12 – Agriculture - Graduation or Post-Graduation in Agriculture or Horticulture. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 13 – Sewing/Fashion Design - Graduation or Post-Graduation in Fashion Designing. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 14 – Ranjan Kala - Graduation/Post-Graduation along with a diploma in Fine Arts or Commercial Arts, including Ranjan Kala, from a prescribed recognized art institution. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification. Post Code 15 – Science - Graduation with both Physics and Chemistry, OR Post-Graduation in either subject. - B.Ed. and the prescribed TET qualification.
