تا حالا براتون سوال شده چرا فرم تسخیرشده‌ی ورجیل به جای Nero Angelo به اسم Nelo Angelo شناخته میشه؟ همه چیز برمی‌گرده به یک اشتباه ترجمه‌ای معروف در سال ۲۰۰۱! ⚔️🔥 داستان پشت این خطای ترجمه‌ای آیکونیک در Devil May Cry از این قرار بوده: نام و معنای اصلی: هیدکی کامیا و تیم کپکام در اصل اسم Nero Angelo رو مد نظر داشتند که در زبان ایتالیایی به معنای «فرشته سیاه» هست؛ اسمی که کاملاً با الهام‌گیری DMC از کتاب کمدی الهی مطابقت داشت. اشتباه در ترجمه: از اونجایی که در آواشناسی زبان ژاپنی، تلفظ دو حرف "L" و "R" یکسانه، کلمه Nero (ネロ) در کاتاکانا هنگام ترجمه DMC1 به انگلیسی، به اشتباه Nelo ترجمه و ثبت شد. چرا کپکام تغییرش نداد؟ کپکام به جای اصلاح این اشتباه در نسخه‌های بعدی، Nelo Angelo رو به عنوان اسم رسمی و کانن حفظ کرد. از طرفی، این کار باعث شد بعداً با معرفی پسر ورجیل یعنی Nero در DMC4، اسم‌ها با هم اشتباه نشن!

It actually started as a simple translation mistake! ⚔️🔥 The Intended Name: Hideki Kamiya and the Capcom team originally intended to call him Nero Angelo, which translates to "Black Angel" in Italian—fitting right in with DMC’s heavy Divine Comedy references. The Localization Mistake: Because Japanese phonetics blend the "L" and "R" sounds, the Katakana spelling for Nero (ネロ) was accidentally translated into English as Nelo during the original DMC1 Why they kept it: Capcom decided to keep the name Nelo Angelo because fans were already used to it. It also helped avoid confusion later when Nero, his son, was intoruced in the game.
