There has been a spike in the number of lost Whatsapp accounts and scams through whatsapp. PROTECT YOUR WHATSAPP 😲 Scammers have been taking over people’s WhatsApp accounts! They will then use the accounts to scam victims’ contacts! They trick victims into sharing their WhatsApp OTPs by posing as their friends, and claiming that their OTPs were wrongly sent to the victims. ⚠️ Secure your WhatsApp Account now!⚠️ •⁠ ⁠Activate two-step verification for your WhatsApp account. •⁠ ⁠Never share any OTPs sent to your phone with anyone. •⁠ ⁠Remove unknown devices linked to your WhatsApp account by going to ‘Settings’ > ‘Linked Devices’.
