This final piece, "Untitled" (Portrait of Ross in LA) is a stack of candies weighing 175 pounds, somewhat regularly replenished. Visitors are encouraged to take pieces of candy off the pile as they visit. Ross, the subject of the portrait and Torres' lover, died of AIDS the same year it was made, and the portrait can be seen as an allegory for the weight he lost during his battle with the disease.
