You are welcomed to a talk to showcase authentic Singaporean food by Sharon Wee, food explorer and author of the cookbook: Growing up in a Nonya Kitchen.
This will be held at Copthorne Tara Hotel London W8 5SY on Friday, 15th March at 2pm. Please RSVP to Cheryl Tham at ctham778@gmail.com.
Sharon grew up in Singapore and her cookbook is an intimate memoir of her growing up in a Chinese Peranakan family. The book was first published in 2012 and the 2023 version has been updated with revised recipes and cooking methods. It also includes new contributions to the culture and heritage of the Peranakans.
You will be able to sample dishes prepared by Sharon with sponsored food items from Old Chang Kee and Rempapa. The first 20 guests will receive a goodie bag each sponsored by Copthorne Tara Hotel.

I am James, former president of NTU Hall 10 & a member of NTU's wakeboarding club. Together with a few fellow NTU students, we are planning a ski trip to Tignes/ Val D'isere in the French Alps for Singaporeans Under 30. We are going on the 20-27th April.
Am hoping that you can help spread the word to your fellow club members if anyone is interested :) I understand that 20-27th April is during term time, but we feel that the SG exchange students & final year students (like myself) can still benefit from this as #LastSemBestSem things. hahahha.
Just to make it clear, we are not profiting from this, we are just extending our hall & wakeboard cca community to a larger group of Singaporeans, as we feel it'll be cool if we can gather 30-40 Singaporeans to ski/snowboard together.
