ROLE: Subsea Structural Engineer - Offshore Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) LOCATION: LAGOS We are seeking skilled and experienced Subsea Structural Engineers to lead and contribute to the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase of offshore subsea projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and engineering the structural components of subsea systems, ensuring their safety, integrity, and performance. Key responsibilities include: · Lead the design and analysis of subsea structural components, including risers, templates, manifolds, and other related infrastructure. · Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions. · Manage and guide the structural engineering aspects of offshore projects during the FEED phase. · Ensure the project's technical objectives are met while adhering to budget and schedule constraints. · Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and other structural assessments to evaluate the performance and integrity of subsea structures. · Provide recommendations for design improvements and optimizations. · Oversee material selection for subsea components, considering environmental factors and corrosion resistance. · Develop and implement corrosion protection strategies for subsea structures. · Ensure all structural designs and engineering solutions comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. · Prepare cost estimates for subsea structural components, including materials, fabrication, and installation. · Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. · Generate and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for subsea structures. · Create documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and project management. · Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, naval architects, and project managers. · Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients to address technical inquiries and present project progress. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in subsea structural engineering, including FEED phase involvement. Proficiency in structural analysis software or similar tools. Knowledge of subsea materials, corrosion protection, and industry codes and Experience with cost estimation and project management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of offshore and subsea construction practices is a plus. Qualified and interested? ROLE: CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL CAD DESIGNER LOCATION: LAGOS Job Description ü Prepare Civil and Structural Drawings / Section Details / MTO. ü Work with 3D PDMS and other Civil & Structural software to generate civil & structural detailed drawings / section details / MTO. ü Drawing, mark up and updating of Engineering Design documents and drawings. ü Steel Roof Design and Detailing / Section Details / MTO. ü Work in a project team environment and reports to the Lead /Senior civil & structural engineer. ü Participate in all discipline works to ensure timely completion of projects and contribute to overall company profitability. ü Attend site visit / Generate site visit report. ü Must be familiar with relevant codes, standards, oil and gas industry design specifications and practices. ü Must have a thorough working knowledge of the latest design engineering, analytical techniques and software programs. General Computer Skills, Including the Ability to Learn Inventory Systems ü Proficient in the use of AutoCAD ü Good communication and presentation skills ü Ability to lead and motivate a team ü Strong communications skills to work across departments. ü Strong links to industry and knowledge of the business drivers for the key markets ü Capable with the following software: ü AutoCAD ü MS MICROSOFT ü PROJECT MICROSOFT ü STAAD Pro, AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Ms Office and MS project.
